Derek understood that look in Isaac's eyes, the wanting that the younger were was trying to cope with. It wasn't for them, he understood that too, but it was for what they had. Derek nosed at Stiles' shoulder, but didn't stop him from reaching out to comfort his beta. It was good and right for Stiles to do so.
"He'll," he started out rough as he gazed at Isaac. He cleared his throat and tried again. "You'll present before next weekend, Isaac." He didn't say as what and Isaac didn't ask. He only flushed, pride and hope burning in his scent.
If they had a larger pack, or more unattached alphas, whoever was interested in him, and he in them, would help him through both presentation and heats. It didn't mean a mating, not yet.
The question of Stiles pregnancy had his eyes flaring though, and his next inhale was deep. No change in his scent, but that didn't mean anything. It would take a few hours at least for that to change. And more likely a few days before Derek would be able to tell from his scent.
"I can't tell yet," he growled, arm tightening around Stiles' waist as he buried his face in his shoulder. His other arm wiggles under Stiles' head and he began to lightly run his fingers though Isaac's curls.
It took another few minutes before Boyd and Erica shuffled over and the three of his betas started to cuddle together.
"You're going to be so fluffy," Erica said as she hugged Isaac around his middle.
Derek laughed into Stiles shoulder as Isaac still tried to rub his head into Derek's palm. "You can finally use that strap on you've been terrorizing Boyd with," he quipped.
