The road trip over spring break had proven to be a good idea so far. Things had been running pretty smoothly, minus a hiccup or two here and there, such as the fact that Tempest and Max kept arguing over whose room Zowie was going to sleep in and Tempest kept pulling the "my boyfriend just left me and I need her more than you do" card which Max was starting to get pretty damn tired of. But that wasn't going to be an issue tonight. Tonight they were all staying in one room with a very large bed. This wasn't because Tempest had agreed on that as a compromise, not at all, but because the motel they had ended up checking into had only a single room available and it was the only motel for miles and miles and they were all getting pretty tired of being cooped up in the car together.
But a trip to the liquor store made most things more bearable, including the awkwardness of the three of them sharing a single room and bed in what just so happened to be the motel's honeymoon suite. And since they had started drinking basically as soon as the sun went down, all of them were already several sheets to the wind having played a few rounds of "Never ever have I ever" before becoming engrossed in a game of "Truth or Dare". Tempest had left Zowie and Max in the heart-shaped jacuzzi tub (which they had all decided to get in earlier in the evening, all of them with their clothes still on) while she went to mix up another batch of Zowie's favorite mixed drink, Pornstar.
By the time Tempest made it back to the tub, Zowie and Max were making out. She pouted as she climbed back in, putting the pitcher down on the lip of the tub before. "No. Nuh uh. Mine." And she pushed Max away by way of a hand on his forehead, using the other hand to turn Zowie's face toward her so that she could kiss her instead. "Yummy," she remarked as she licked her lips. "What's my dare? Did you decide?"
