Tempest Ainsley-Tennyson |
In Character Info |
Name: Tempest Serenity Ainsley-Tennyson Nicknames: Tee, Tens Age/DoB: 20/January 1st, 1993 Sexuality: Bicurious Major: Theater Minor: English Status: Superiore Education Level: Undergrad Year: Sophomore Owns or Owned by: None Extra Activities: Drama and Swimming Housing: Morgan Hall Physical Description: Tempest is short, only coming in at around 5'3". She's rather petite, but shapely. Her hair is such a dark shade of brown that it sometimes looks closer to black, but in the summer months, when she spends more time in the sun, the color lightens up quite a bit. She's even been known to wear it blond from time to time. Her eyes are hazel, more green than brown, and she tends to wear a rather smug look upon her face the vast majority of the time. Personality: Tempest is true to her name. Her personality is nothing short of stormy. She can be really charming and easy going at times and at other times she will bite your head off for looking at her the wrong way. She's in a constant state of ups and downs and prone to some pretty major tantrums when she doesn't get her way. She's always been that way and likely always will be. Tempest is also an opportunist. She is driven, but not in the sense that she is focused on her school work or even her career. Her drive is in finding a means to putting herself in a position of great wealth and power. While her family is well to do on their own, it isn't enough for her. Her ultimate goal is to land a suitable husband while attending Pearsons that will ensure that she never has to want for anything in her entire life. When it comes to her response to the system, Tempest could honestly take it or leave it. She isn't above having the inferiores do things that she doesn't care to do herself, completely comfortable with treating them like servants. But she doesn't exploit them to fulfill her sexual needs nor does she use them to play out any fetishes. She'd rather do that with the people that are of her own station. History: In January of 1992, Adrien Ainsley-Tennyson met the woman of his dreams. Her name was Angelique and she was absolutely beautiful. But there was one small problem. She was mere weeks away from taking her vows at the La maison du Saint Nunnery just outside of Paris, France. But Adrien was not a man that knew the meaning of the word no. He had been raised in the lap of luxury and wealth, educated at the best schools that money could buy, handed anything and everything he ever wanted, and he wanted Angelique. It would not take long before he would have her. In less than a year, not only would he make her his wife, but she would give birth to two beautiful children, fraternal twins, a boy and a girl, Tempest and Tybalt. But the Ainsley-Tennyson's did not approve of Adrien's decision to wed a poor nobody. This put a lot of strain on his marriage to Angelique and she left him when the children were just two years of age. Adrien was furious. So in order to get back at her for leaving him, he took the children and moved back to the United States where his father's family was originally from and still lived. A year later, Angelique died in an accident. She never got to see her children again. The guilt over what he had done consumed Adrien. In an effort to make up for it, he spoiled his children rotten, most especially his daughter. He felt inconsolable that she had to grow up without a mother all because of his own pettiness, so he gave her anything and everything she ever wanted. With Tybalt, it was a bit different. Though he was always kind to his son, he didn't feel the same burden of guilt when it came to him, so he was never over indulged quite to the same extent as Tempest was. Because of this, Tybalt grew up to be rather well-adjusted and Tempest grew up to be a bit of a handful, though both children were held to high expectations as far as education was concerned. Tybalt was far more dedicated to his studies than his twin, but they both managed to get extremely good marks which would earn them a spot at the Ivy league school of their choosing. But for the Ainsley-Tennyson's, there was one choice only, Pearson University. Both Tempest and Tybalt enrolled at the university as Freshman in the year 2011. Tempest adjusted to life at Pearson rather quickly but she missed her best friend, Zowie McGaven, who was a year behind her in school. When she got word that Zowie was also attending Pearson, not a huge shock seeing as how the McGaven's, like the Ainsley-Tennyson's, had been sending their offspring there for years, she was ecstatic. Tempest had planned on going home for the Summer term to spend it with Zowie, after finding out that she was coming early because of the situation with James, she decided to stay and enroll in a few classes for the term as a surprise. Random Facts: Likes: wealth, the spotlight, cute boots, gossip Dislikes: shopping, overly ornate jewelry, the idea of being poor, escargo Talents: excellent swimmer, fluent in French, champion jockey, good at digging up dirt on people Reputation: Tempest is reputed as being a bitchy, moody and arrogant gossip.
