my senility strikes again. i thought i replied to this.

i'll do here, since i'm that weird anxiety person about discord, even if yes, i do have a discord, and i'm friendly, but. sigh. ANXIETY.

i think it was their 7th year that they got a little closer. probably even 6th? she'd certainly remember the day sirius and james picked on severus, which was, ya know, the whole super falling out day she had with severus. ofc, that happened 5th year. and so maybe 6th / 7th might've been when she started to give him more of a chance. they're all in the same house, after all. before those years it could've been the usual school-type pleasantries. i know they did end up getting to be very close friends eventually, so we could do some fun backstory type thing in-game to see how they (aka we as writers!) get along on some kinda magical adventure side quest or some such, or we can assume it? i'm working on her over at [info]thegirlwhodies if you'd like to peek at how i characterized her.

I definitely think there had to be a period where she was a) exasperated by him and b) didn't trust him over the snape thing. So we could say they were friendly and then cold with the Shrieking Shack thing happening, if that makes sense. And now closer to the end of Hogwarts maybe getting closer? Happy to have that be a thing in game like you said!

Just looking at your app, I feel like she's exactly the sort of witch Sirius WANTS to know.

i feel like lily probably lumped sirius in with james at first as being insufferable and arrogant. but after she started hanging out with james more, etc., she gave him more of a chance and he's really growing on her? i have some stuff up on her journal, though i'm going to expand on it more!
