That's pretty amazing, but yeah, I definitely like that sculpture better. Wish I could go see it in person and figure out exactly how they did it.

B/c it's in the BMW museum? In Munich?

So? Next time we get a break, we'll go to Munich. I'd like to see it too.

Seriously? Just...wander on over to Germany for a break? That's what they mean about how the other half lives.

That...would be seriously awesome, man. Thanks. But seeing as I haven't been allowed off campus for more than a few hour day trip in closing in on two years now, I sort of doubt it's going to be an issue.

We'll see what we can swing. It's worth trying, anyway.

Never know until you try, huh? Though after last week I think the chances are even slimmer than they would have been before.

That's very cool!

Are you BACK back yet? I have a hat delivery to make.

Maybe we could make a sculpture like that? Something that moves?

I am totally back, have been since Saturday. Sorry I didn't look you up, been feeling sort of anti-social I guess.

I've done some kinetic sculpture before, but nothing even close to that complex. Just bits of moving parts here and there, you know? It's kind of amazing.

That's okay! I've been busy.

I like the sculptures that move with the wind and stuff.

Some of them are pretty amazing, with how delicately they're balanced to get the desired effect. Did you look at the video of that Japanese fountain Jono linked up there? That's pretty amazing too.

It is SO amazing. And I like how the water kind of makes it's own music. Well, maybe not music, depending on your definition, but it's a rhythm for sure.

I was so busy thinking about how you could set it to music I didn't even really notice that. Had to go back and watch it again to get what you meant.
