Personality: With a smooth outer shell that’s as solid as rock ninety eight percent of the time, Alec’s the type to sidle up to women at bars and make attempts to charm their pants off – sometimes literally. While he comes off to be an easy and care free guy to most strangers, he’s got the heart of a soldier on the inside with years of the Psy-Ops training that really shattered him some days to make him heartless.

The snarky, almost jerk like front of uses is something of a natural thing for Alec; but when things come down to the wire or when someone close to him is in trouble, he’ll do whatever he has to – in Rachel’s case, even risking his own life.

Following orders is something he doesn’t do very well, but something he does to well is quick spur of the moment plans. With his prior work as a cat burglar, he’s use to the quickness of things around him. And shockingly, Alec is actually loyal. As much as he liked to pretend he didn’t get along with Max and blatantly not listen to her, he generally liked her on the better days. But as said above, it’s all a part of his front; his image, so to speak.

Alec has a habit of shutting himself off from others with the more personal issues that he harbors, whether it is past memories or owing people money. Asking for help is a weak thing to do in his mind since he was taught to simply muster on and keep things to himself. It’s a rare occasion when he actually does this.

Beyond his more selfish ways, doing the right thing isn’t all that bad for the transgenic. For example, an instance when he has to leave Terminal City to save a fellow transgenic is something he rarely double thinks anymore.

Brief History: (In your own words) Identical twin of X5-493 (aka Ben), Alec was raised at the test facility in Gilette, Wyoming of Manticore like all other transgenics. He was raised to be a solider and follow orders, which he did; but after a few missions in the outside world he picked up snark and linguistic skills.

When his twin went off the deep end, Alec was put through rigorous testing and months of PsyOps. He also had to deal with falling for Rachel Berrisford during one of his first missions, which they gave him solitary for not completing the mission.

Eventually, he was paired with 452 aka Max as a breeding partner. From there, his life just started getting crazy. He helped Max escape, escaped Manitcore himself when the facility went up in flames, got caught for the murders Ben did, and eventually - moved to Sector Nine and helped create Terminal City for the other transgenics who weren't being accepted in the world as Max's second in command.

Powers/ Abilities: He has the same traits as the others in the X5 series: enhanced strength, speed, agility, reflexes, durability, stamina, coordination, immune system, and senses; along with a very high IQ level, eidetic memory, and accelerated metabolism and healing.

Writing Sample(at least a 2 full paragraphs (3 to 5 complete sentences per paragraph) in third-person point of view): It was always nice having a day of from helping Max saving the world and just doing nothing. Then again, Alec rarely did 'nothing' well. He had to be doing something, always. It probably had something to do with the animal genetics in his DNA. But no matter, that didn't stop him from walking through the space he called home and shared with Joshua to find the half man, half dog painting.

He poked Joshua in the shoulder before looking at his art. "What'cha making there Josh? Something new?" Alec might now say it, but the guy's art really was a bit interesting. Messy...but interesting.

"Joshua number one ten," he smiled with his canines showing.

"Awesome. So look, I think we need to get out. Go have some fun. You in?"

The dog man shook his head and Alec frowned a bit. "Alright. More for me." He moved away, grabbing his jacket as he said, "I'll bring you a souvenir." Without another word and a wave of his hand, Alec was out the door and on his way to the hidden exit to the city.
