Yes, 12 is the limit (if you can handle it, etc.) Character Information Name: James "Jamie" Arthur Madrox Codename/Tag Name: Multiple Man Age/DOB: December 4th 1978 Affiliation: X-Factor PB: Eric Dane Journal Name: Powers/Abilities: Jamie can produce duplicates of himself from any physical impact; i.e. if he falls; duplicate, if he hits something; duplicate, etc. Each of his “dupes” have a certain trait of Jamie’s personality, some which he doesn’t realize or know he has. When a duplicate disappears or goes back to Jamie, Jamie will absorb all of that duplicates memory and emotions, which will give him new insight to something or someone. If one of his dupes dies or gets injured; Jamie feels that impact as well and describes a feeling of ‘being torn apart’. Weaknesses: Any impact can cause his duplicates, also; some duplicates are down right evil and shouldn't be trusted. Jamie is constantly trying to figure out his duplicates; whether they're good or out to get him and others. History: Jamie was born in Los Alamos, New Mexico to a scientist and his wife. His mutation was present as soon as he was born, when the doctor slapped him, he had duplicated himself. His father quit his job at the Nuclear Power Plant and moved his family to an isolated farm after a visit from Charles Xavier who suggested them to do so. Throughout his entire childhood and early teenage years, Jamie was home taught. Around the age of 15, he had a visit from Damien Tryp who pleaded with Jamie's parents to give the teen over to him as he felt Jamie was a changeling (an earlier form of mutant), Jamie's parents denied him. Around the same age, Jamie got a visit from Xavier who gave him a special suit that would help reduce his chances of creating duplicates upon impact. Sometime after the visit, a tornado came and killed Jamie's parents. Jamie stayed on the farm and took care of it with his duplicates. He left the farm when he was 21 after he had a technical glitch with his suit, causing it to malfunction and absorb electrical energy. Jamie went to New York City where he got into a bit of trouble with the Fantastic Four, there Xavier came to sort out the situation; he fixed up Jamie's suit and took him to Westchester. There he was asked to join Xavier's X-Men, Jamie refused and decided to help Moira MacTaggart in Muir Island instead. It was there that Jamie and Siryn both began their friendship. During his time, Jamie constantly made duplicates (this would prove handy to Moira) and at one point, a duplicate drugged Jamie to travel to America. There in America the duplicate joined anonymous terrorist groups. The real Jamie (not knowing what his duplicate is doing nor knowing there is one out there) traveled back to America to join the government-run X-Factor. Writing Sample: He had been waiting for a while now and it had started to rain so he decided to go inside. He took a seat and ordered, keeping watch out the window just in case the person he was waiting for would arrive. His coffee came quickly and drank it slowly, still watching. The rain began to pour heavily, Jamie sighed somehow with this type of weather he knew that hardly anyone would show up. His food came in and he slowly began to eat that, trying to enjoy what he had ordered and take his mind off this meeting. Other Notes/Information: N/A |
