Members must post at least once a month. If you cannot post for an extended period of time, you must let the moderators know. If you don't post or notify a mod you forfeit your characters. A hiatus may be requested using via the community dropbox. The link may be found at the end of the rules. If you are relieved of your character you may reapply in a month.
Graphic posts must be placed under appropriate warnings and put behind a cut. (lj-cut text="put your text here"). Note: use the < and > instead of the parentheses in the example. If comments are graphic in nature an NC-17 notice must be in the warning line of the header. This includes, but is not limited to, graphic language. Triggers should also appear behind a cut and reference in the Warnings line in the header.

If you have a problem with someone, approach that person first. Talk with them, try to work it out. If there is still a problem notify a mod. Keep all OOC stuff OOC. Flaming or attacks on other players results in instant removal from the community.
Log posts are to be at least one paragraph long, but it is preferred you post more. If the post exceeds 200 words, please place it behind the lj-cut tag. Posts are to be in the third person. Logs should be at least three entries, while networks are five. Regarding posts: We all make typos. Posts to this community are to be open for all members to view. This means no friend locking or making posts private. What you do with posts outside of the community is up to you. Remember to use spell check unless your character has a reason to speak incorrectly. If this becomes a problem the mods will address it if they so choose.

Addendum: If you wish to contact a member please do so via their contact post, which can be found under Contact Info.
When tagging, especially multiple character threads, please keep in mind we are all in different time zones. Do not leave a character behind in a thread. No one likes their character to look dumb for not reacting.
Canon characters played by should be used instead of substituting.

Do not tell another player how to play their character, if you have a problem with it notify a mod. This is also to say be true to your character, remember how they would react to something, and portray them accordingly. Just as important: No god-modding. Remember there is an actual human being behind each and every character who won't appreciate having other people dictate what their character is doing or where they are when they're doing it. Please let them control their own characters unless you have previously been asked or given permission to move the character.
Please make sure there is basic information in all character journals (name, age, etc) so that people can know who they are interacting with. Each journal should also contain a Contact Post or character dropbox.
Since this is a multi-fandom community it is important that characters interact with other characters outside of their fandom. If it is obvious you are not making an effort to branch out you will be warned. If you continue to avoid characters from other comms you will forfeit your character.
