Personality |
General Behavior/Personality: Lavender isn't the same giggly girl she was back at Hogwarts. The war and her subsequent recovery made her reevaluate her life and the way she was living it. She is much more the sort of person to live in the moment, she doesn't take things for granted, and she doesn't waste opportunities. She's still fun loving, and there is so much she wants to do, but she's more guarded about all that now. She's convinced that the way she looks now is too much of a hindrance for her to really get the things she wants, and so she is quite often settling for second best. She's mostly the same girl, but she's got a bit more of a sarcastic edge to her these days, and she lives much more in reality than she used to. Strengths: She is a realist, she does her best to always work with what she is given, she doesn't give up easily, carpe diem is her motto these days, says what she means she doesn't have time for quibbling over hurting someone's feelings, goes after what she wants Weaknesses: She is realistic to a fault - she doesn't see the world as the same bright shining place she used to, she's hard on herself and others, she has a hard time letting go of the past. Quirks/Habits: She can often be seen rubbing her neck where her scar runs, or pulls her hair over her shoulders to hide her scars despite the glamours Goals/Dreams: To be comfortable with herself, spend more time with her friends and family. Hobbies: Lavender has become an avid reader because of all the time she spends on her own, and she has a little window box garden to help brighten up her flat and give her something else to keep herself busy with. |

She is always doing her best to wear clothing and scarves to cover her scars Distinguishing Marks: She has scars covering most of her chest, with one very severe scar that runs from her jaw down the center of her chest - She uses glamors to hide all of these but she still feels like they are all people see when they look at her. Relationships |
Orientation: Mostly Straight Status: Single Significant Other: N/A Children: None Parents: Mariam and Stephen Brown Sibling(s): None Family History: Lavender is the only child of Stephen and Miriam Brown. As such she was spoiled as much as any only child would be. Stephen worked in the Ministry up until the after the attack on Hogwarts, these days he runs his own consulting agency to separate himself as much as possible from the Ministry. Lavender was spoiled growing up, and basically thought the world was just a happy sort of place and she would always get exactly what she wanted. This view carried her right through the majority of her time at Hogwarts. Of course after breaking up with Ron and then being on the receiving end of an attack by Fenrir Greyback, her world view has changed quite a bit. It took Lavender months of treatment and potions and physical therapy to recover from the injuries she sustained as a result of Fenrir's attack. She still is extremely scarred from the attack. She insisted on going back to school to finish up her exams once she was better, despite her parent's protests. The Brown family does it's best to distance itself from the workings of the Ministry these days. They all feel if the Ministry had done their job the first time it never would have come to an attack on Hogwarts - and it wouldn't have fallen on children to fight the war that should have been left to adults (Social/Romantic/Sexual) Close Friendships: Seamus Finnigan, Dean Thomas, Pansy Parkinson, Parvati Patil Known Enemies: Fenrir Greyback Past relationships: Ron Weasley at Hogwarts, and a bit of a whirlwind romance with Seamus Finnegan. She and Seamus recently reconnected, but ultimately the relationship fell through due to the traveling involved in Seamus' job. Pets: Imus, her owl |

Fun Stuff |
Making out - still most definitely one of Lavender's most favorite things, it's one of the few times she lets herself forget about everything else. She really did like Seamus, but she kept to herself too much, not convince anyone could really like her after everything - she still holds on to this defense mechanism. She doesn't feel like she belongs entirely in the wizarding world anymore, nor does she belong in the muggle world where she does so much of her work, nor does she fit in with the actual werewolves - she doesn't know where she belongs. Once you get past the outer shell she's built up, Lavender is very much the girl she used to be, just a bit more subdued. These days, she's surprised she was so infatuated with Ron Weasley, he's a nice guy and all but ... not quite the right sort for her, but he did have the softest lips. |
