In depth | ||
Personality: Dominique is very much a Weasley, it is something she has grown into - when she was younger she wished she was more like her mother and her sister, hating how different she was from the way she acted down to the way she looked. She just never felt quite right in dresses and frills the way it seemed her mother and sister did. It was only as she got older, started going to Hogwarts that she grew into her identity. Though her differences made her much closer to her father, and she always looks to him for advice and comfort even now, and she's always felt closer to him than her mother - whether that's because of her looks or their many similar personality traits she's not quite sure. She's fiercely loyal and she loves life, Dom laughs easily and is always looking for the next cool new thing. She has many interests in her life, but quidditch is most definitely the thing that takes up the most space in her mind, she loves to fly and had considered making a career of it after Hogwarts. But decided that it was something she wanted to keep as a game and not as a career - though she found herself regretting that decision on more than one occasion. Dom is an incessant flirt, she likes the attention she gets from men and women alike, and she doesn't shrink away from it. However, she doesn't sleep around or suggest more in her flirting than the simple desire for company, and possibly a snog. She was a virgin until only recently, despite her flirtatious nature, Dom is looking for something more than a one off - she is flattered by the offers but she wants a deeper connection than that. Special Abilities: Dom has a bit of the veela charm in her, but it's so little she hardly feels like it makes a difference, not in the same way it does for her mother, or even her sister. And after being attacked in Avalon Park, Dominique is now a werewolf. Dom can also speak a bit of French and a smattering of phrases in a few other languages, not enough to live in any place other than England, but enough to order a pint and ask about any local matches. Strengths: Dom is more than just a fair flyer, she feels at home on a broom, it was one thing that came to her quite naturally. Right along with her quidditch skills. She is overly friendly, and makes friends easily with those she meets so long as their amiable. And she's ace with a few hexes picked up from her cousins and uncles. Weaknesses: Weasley temper with a little bit of that Veela temper mixed in can create a volatile mix - especially now that she has a werewolf temperament on top of everything else. So Dom doesn't do well with humoring idiots, she likes you then she's going to be your friend and if she doesn't then she doesn't have patience for you. And she's honest even when she probably shouldn't be, but she's never seen the point in lying about the things she wants or the people she likes.
Appearance | ||
Gender: Female Nationality: English Height: 5'7'' Build: Dom takes after some of the broader members of her family, she is shorter, and not quite the same lithe build as her mother, she's more curvy and filled out than some of her other female relatives, it used to make her self conscious but she's since grown to love her body. Eyes: Blue Hair: Long and Weasley red - another source of disappointment when she was younger Distinguishing Marks: scar on her stomach where she was bitten Physical Description: When Dominique was younger she wished she looked more like her mother, and took less after her father's side of the family - the way her sister and brother did. She was always a little bigger than her siblings, and she felt quite out of place among her siblings, despite being so close to both of them. These days she has really grown into her body and come to love herself for her differences, loving the ties her physical appearance give her to her very large extended family. She's curvy and athletically built, thanks in part to all the training she did while playing quidditch at school. She moves with a confidence she didn't have in her younger years, and she's not afraid of her body or the way it affects others. Played by: Lauren Ambrose
Relationships | ||
Orientation: Straight Status: In a relationship Significant Other: Dylan Vaisey Father: Bill weasley Mother: Fleur Delacour (deceased) Sibling: Victoire Weasley (+ Teddy Lupin), Louis Weasley Aunts/Uncles/Cousins: Charlie Weasley (+ Callum Moody), Percy Weasley (+ Audrey Ogden - Molly Weasley ii, Lucy Weasley), George Weasley (- Fred 'Alex' Weasley), Fred Weasley, Ron Weasley (+ Hermione Granger - Rose Granger, Hugo Granger), Gabriell Delacour History | Being the middle child in a Weasley family is not all it's cracked up to be, or so it seemed for Dom. She loved her sister and she loved her younger brother, but for a long time it felt like she was just one of many in a family as large as theirs, with the additions of cousins and aunts and uncles. As she gold older she started to see the many perks of being a member of such a large family, always people to play with, and when she got to Hogwarts there were already people she knew there. | Once at Hogwarts Dom blossomed, easily growing into her personality and a new found confidence taking over as she made friends and took classes. She loved most of the things she learned at Hogwarts, and really liked the way she could be her own person there and not just a Weasley, and that made her appreciate even more the family she was from. She also started her love affair with Quidditch while at Hogwarts, joining the team as a back up in her third year and then a full player in her fourth and becoming the captain in her final year. She'd always loved Quidditch before Hogwarts, but being on a real team, instead of just the pick up games her family played, that was what really made her go off the deep end for the sport. And she very nearly went professional after Hogwarts, but had doubts about whether or not she would want to make a career out of it - and it's something she has regretted a few times since then. She had a brief romance with Terry Boot, which lead to her being attacked on the full moon, thus changing her life forever. Dom is still getting used to the changes involved with being a werewolf even after having a few months to get used to the idea. She still doesn't have a firm grasp on how strong she is now, or her new enhanced senses, but she's trying her best while balancing her new job at Hogwarts - one thing that she truly loves about her life right now. Right now her life is all about balance, trying to figure out the new way things fit here and there, and she's eager to find that easy balance again so she can get back to the job of living. |
