APPEARANCE: Tall and slim, Aly works to keep her body toned too, wanting to be long and lean instead of tall and lanky like she used to be called in school as a teen. Her strong jaw wasn't always to everyone's liking either, but she has learned to love it and how to do her make-up to soften it.

Personality.

DETAILED PERSONALITY: Alyson is one of those people who, although they can survive by themselves and be independent, likes to be liked, and will accept certain help if offered and not too much. However, she is a confident person, and sometimes that confidence and willing to try anything can lead her into trouble she feels bad letting others dig her out of. She always tries to make time for her friends, and even tries to keep in touch with her parents despite their disapproval and lack of effort going the opposite way.

The most important thing that makes her a good nurse is that she isn’t scared of looking silly, but she knows when to be serious too, and when to fight for what is best for her patients. The kids she cared for during her training loved her ability to listen, or take their mind off things when they needed it, and so did their families. It's no secret that pediatrics is where she plans to work once her time at Shepherd is up.

History.

HISTORY:

Born the daughter of two American doctors working in England. Her parents weren't mean, or ignored her completely, they did try in the early days, but her mother went back to work as soon as she could get away with it, not being able to stand being a housewife, and both her and Alyson's father worked long hours for most of her childhood. Once school started she started to twig that it wasn't normal to barely see her parents, but she found her friend's families taking pity on her, and finding her chatty silly nature cute, so she spent most of her school years in and out of other people's houses and lives.

When it came to time for university they wanted her to go to their alma mater, to study towards becoming a doctor, and so off she went to Shepherd. She lasted one semester as a pre-med before switching to nursing. Her parents pulled their money unless she changed back, but she was stubborn. She didn't want to be a doctor. She didn't want to be her parents, and if that meant having to be a servita, then... fine.

Despite what her parents thought about life as a servita making her switch back soon enough, Aly found a way to coast on through the system, playing the game to keep things as pleasant as it could be in her situation. She survived her four years, and not only survived it, but decided to stay on in an Assessor role, working in the campus clinic for two years in exchange for an almost guaranteed position in one of the top Childrens Hospitals once she finished.
