CAN THIS CHARACTER BE CANON PUNCTURED? No.
WHAT ARE YOUR INTENTIONS WITH THIS CHARACTER IN GAME? I always seem to grab characters with some sort of fantastic dream life and things that will effect them in the waking world. Beyond being a panther in his dreams, Bagheera is rather normal. He'll be a good anchor for my roster and will want to be involved with the community, so I'm looking forward to him being the calm in the crazy.
Bagheera was born Rama Darzi in the heart of London. While his family was comfortably middle class, life with the family was very proper. Bagheera, being curious and studious, but often times quiet, had no problems thriving in such an environment. Having no real idea where his future would lead him, the only thing he knew for certain was that he would follow in his father's footsteps and join the military.
His fellow soldiers would often tease him about being cat like, which is where the nickname Bagheera evolved (in the way that nicknames often do). He thought that perhaps he could have a career in the army until by chance he was taken prisoner of war. While his time was fortunately brief, he came to realize there were other things in the world more important than wars. Bagheera enrolled in university as soon as he was home.
Armed with degrees in environmental science and animal biology, Bagheera found his home with a conservation organization. His work took him to the exotic reaches of India and Africa, and, under the careful guidance of his mentors, he grew to a role of prominence. Enough that he became the face at certain events - which led him to meet his exasperating other half.
Feeling that there's an opportunity in America to ride the trend of new interest in conservation and environmental awareness, Bagheera's organization has chosen to open new offices in Orange County. Among those selected to join the start is Bagheera, eager to start the next chapter of his life in California.
AUDITION
I didn't give much thought to this dream epidemic that seems to fill this network, but now I think I have no choice. I had the most peculiar dream, in which I was a panther living in the jungles of India, and I rescued a small boy. I could also possibly be working far too much - no one else around here has dreamt of being an animal before, have they? Baloo doesn't count, naturally.
