Another tragic event shakes our world, devastating the small progress we've tried to make since Hogsmeade. It appears evident that these attacks will not stop. While I cannot imagine the true meaning behind these heinous acts, this serves as an attempt to weaken us. To allow fear and grief to cripple us ignores the sacrifice of those who we have laid to rest.
House Weasley lost a great man. My father was warm, kind, and fiercely loyal. He imbued us all with a sense of compassion, family, and equality. In spite of what he may have personally thought, my father's dedication to this country, to every single citizen, never wavered. I have no doubt he died fighting to the last.
But our sorrow does not end with him. The Bones, the Longbottoms, our Aurors, every single person killed in this savage strike leaves a mark on us. How any witch or wizard could mass murder their own like this is truly incomprehensible. The truth will out.
Vic, V, & Pippa Thanks for the other night, you lot. I'm lucky to have friends like you.
Hazel & Miranda I know we don't know each other all that well, but your parents-- they deserved better. So do you both. If there's anything House Weasley can do to help you in any way, don't hesitate to ask.
