To all you Mums, how do you get any bloody sleep? Do children really not know the meaning of weekend lie-in? Is it really considered that awful to lock them in their rooms from the outside?

Weasleys and Lee
Bill, I think we ought to host a little Quidditch charity event but not exclude commoners from playing by forcing a buy-in. Four teams, elimination type. Just a thought, yeah?

Vic
How's your fancy-arse house? Is my room ready?

Yeah, it's ready. I'm more concerned about the children bit.... did you shag someone who's got kids or something?

No, arsehole. Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course. Just the sprogs Mum's taken on. A few of them wake up with the bloody sun.

So? Am I invited? I'll make dinner.

Oooh, that's right. Forgot about that. Soundproofing charms, mate.

You're one of a handful of people who's always invited. What's on the menu? I'll have the house elf pick up ingredients for you.

Guess I should've thought of that before going to bed. Reckon I'll need to brush up on those if I'm staying over.

That's sweet, Black. When I asked Pippa about it, she said had to defer to you. You've really got her whipped, haven't you?

I dunno! Fetch me some skirt steak, whatever veggies you like and make sure you've got the usual suspects in the house for baking. I'm in a good mood.

Sounds like the start of a good plan. Don't forget we've got our annual cookout coming up in July. We could include the quidditch bit in the entertainment portion, yeah? And I'm going to suggest you Professionals sit out as team coaches and referees.

How could I forget? It was a real rager last year.

Aw, really? I was hoping we could weight the teams instead... but I reckon that's a much more reasonable approach. Ever the diplomat, Bill.

Now Gin, it would be totally unfair for you to play with these amateurs. You'd smoke them so fast the whole event would be over in minutes!

Sounds like fun though! I can do some promotion once we nail it down?

I reckon you're right, Lee. I really want a game of pick-up soon. Maybe in June, invitation only.

Sounds brill! I'll wager the League will donate some if we get enough traction, yeah? And I can definitely get the Harpies on board.

Think you could get a Sunday away from the clinic next weekend? I bet my arse we could convince enough of our mates for two team's worth.

Shouldn't be too hard, Gin. I'll move some things around for the afternoon, all right?

Before the sun comes up? On a bloody Sunday? I guess it's a bit sweet they wanted me to make them breakfast.

I'll send them over to Yaxley Manor and see how you like it next week.

Okay, before the sun is just evil. But you're right, that does sound sweet.

I don't think I'm ready for that kind of responsibility!

I swear they knew I was hung over. It was sweet until they started shrieking.

Please, Yaxley, I think you could handle it. Just feed them, make sure they don't break anything expensive, have any magical outbursts, chunder all over themselves or create utter mayhem. Sounds like a Saturday night at the club. Normal shite.

Ah, the shrieking. My childhood is coming back to me.

I don't stay at clubs late enough to get that experience, believe me.

They're bloody well not mine. Mum's kept some of orphaned kids on after the Ministry murders. Guess they've taken a shine to me because they were clamouring for me to make them breakfast when I was trying to sleep off a hangover.

Oh, they've definitely taken a shine to you.
Or, they were just getting a kick out of your growling.

Kids are awesome like that.

I reckon it was a combination of both. Little bleeders.

Well, you moved out of your bloody house in preparation for your brother. I should send a few of them over to your flat, remind you what it's like.

That and your charming personality, Gin. You're just a regular charmer, you know.

Naw, I expect to spend lots of time babysitting him. Needed my own space without the regular annoyances.

It's true, I'm dead charming. That's why I've got a veritable horde of suitors begging for my hand.

Need a brush up on diaper changing charms? They really come in handy.

Alexa reading too loudly again? Or is it tough to find spots to shag Greengrass in that Manor of yours?

Being a hot quidditch star doesn't make a difference there... really...

I don't know... if I come over to help you with the prats, you're likely to disappear on me...

Alexa being weird, Vee being... Vee... my parents... It was just time to get out of my own.

That's just a perk for them. Who wouldn't want Harpies tickets for life?

Shite, foiled again, Potter. I obviously would immediately disappear

Alexa's been weird. V is who she is, but I didn't think she was at the Hollow much anymore. I can't blame you for moving out. Plus, your flat is pretty nice.

Hmmm. What other perks do they get?

Well, if you're not disappearing, I can help distract them a little.

She isn't that much, but it's always nice having a place I can kick people out of.
And thanks. You and 'Mione are always welcome to come visit.
