Her temper was infamous within the Ministry, but it was only inflamed when it was absolutely necessary to garner the correct response from those that worked under her. Most of the time she was congenial and very easy to get along with, as long as her coworkers silly mistakes were kept at a minimum. Staunch and very uptight at times, she was well respected, and known for being able to get the job done when no one else could. At home, she was a completely different woman, more laid back and less reserved, and generally just a pleasure to be around. She loves her family deeply and is completely loyal to those of her blood. She was born to be a refined lady, given the wild streak she had as a younger lady, it was thought that she would never marry a respectable man. After the birth of her daughter, however, Sabrina matured a great deal, so that the rearing of her child wouldn't fall to someone else simply because it was assumed that she was too flightly for the role. Her gift of sight has always been a hard thing for her to deal with, as she saw the deaths of several loved ones long before the events took place, and so when a vision came she tried to ignore them, to live in ignorance, but the visions refused to be ignored. having been born to one of the oldest and purest families in wizarding britain, sabrina can at times be a bit uppity and carry a 'holier than thou' attitude, particularly if she's confronted by those of lesser blood, or lesser status. she's typically not mean, but she can be catty when she's in a bad mood. God/Goddess/Historical Figure: Pandora notes: Sabrina gave birth to the illegitimate child of Tom Riddle, AKA The Dark Lord in 1951, and kept this a complete secret from everyone until she was literally mere moments from death, and even then she swore the one person she told, her daughter, to keep the secret for as long as she lived. She felt that in the times they were in that it was safer for her not to tell anyone else for fear of what they would do the the child of the infamous wizard, or to seek the man out for fear of what he himself would do. Sabrina married one of The Dark Lord's first generation Death Eaters, Evan Rosier (the first), in early 1954. It wasn't a love match on Sabrina's end, but there was an attraction and a fondness there, though her feelings for him never grew beyond a close friendship. By their standards, Evan was a good man, from a good family, and he was wonderful to both Sabrina and her daughter, so their marriage was very stable, peppered with the usual disagreements, but both always seemed quite content with one another. There was only one child, a son Evan II born in 1960, created by their union. Hadley's difficult birth several years earlier had rendered it virtually impossible for Sabrina to have any more children, but she always held on to hope, and in the end was rewarded with the gift of another child to love. The couple wanted more children, but it was beginning to look like Evan and Hadley were the only two in the cards for them, but still, they were young, and neither felt it would hurt to keep trying. In 1962 at a visit to her Healer for fertility potions, an abnormality was discovered in her cervix during a routine body scan. The cancer, they thought, had been caught early, and that removal of the tumor would lead give her a better than 80% chance of survival. And survive she did, for six more years, until they discovered that her cancer had returned, with a vengence. After a prolonged illness, Sabrina finally succumbed on September 22, 1968. |
