PERSONALITY lost worlds and endless nights Bonnie wears her heart on her sleeve, and is extremely expressive and what she would consider down-to-earth but what most people would consider as loudmouthed and opinionated. Bonnie has a sharp tongue - she's quick-witted, outspoken and direct. While she carries the ambitious traits of a typical former-Slytherin, and is cunning and calculated in her own ways, she is also extremely tactile, affectionate, and treats those she loves and works with like family members. Anyone outside of the family can consider themselves very much on the outside and either subject of skepticism or scorn, and you certainly don't want to do anything like insult her or the people she loves, either. This is not a new personality trait - at school, Bonnie was considered rather cliquey. She has a strong head for business, and her job is extremely important to her. Being a business owner, work and personal life can easily blend and she will march to the end of the earth to ensure herself and her girls (and boys) are treated like royalty. She works damn hard on her club and there's a reason why it's favoured by many top officials and important people in the Wizarding world - Bonnie likes to think it's because it reflects all of the best parts of her: classy, cheeky, stylish, exclusive. She probably thinks a little bit too highly of herself. Speaking of... Bonnie's appearance is extremely important to her, but the way she presents herself, and the process of that, is something she keeps under lock and key. She's tried many different fads and potions and lotions throughout the years, and there's nothing stopping her from trying out a few black market methods for extra-shiny hair or super clear skin: blood, illegal spells, bizarre rituals? She's tried and is trying it all. LIKES: Dark chocolate, clothes and shopping for clothes, red meat, going out and having fun, being business savvy, strong women, sophisticated and polite men, timeless style, lazy Sundays DISLIKES: Most men, children, fussy design, rats, cheap alcohol, indifference, financial insecurity
BIOGRAPHY I held you at a distance then, so I could keep you sacred now Bonnie Dunstan grew up in London and was raised in a pureblood househould that never had the same kind of influence as the Blacks or the Malfoys, but were well enough respected in high society as a family who honoured tradition. Both of her siblings, older than her, married into other pureblood families not long after they graduated from Hogwarts, and Bonnie knew the same was expected of her. She had other plans. Bonnie was bright and popular in school, but known for being a bit too outspoken and disdainful of others that didn't agree with her, especially boys. This gained her a reputation for being a 'stuck-up bitch', and a tease when she flirted but never 'followed through'. She became steadily distrustful of boys who seemed to only want one thing from her, and it quickly solidified her plans to get out of Hogwarts and have nothing to do with the marriage her parents were so eager to arrange. She had only one thing in mind - complete independence, and a goal to have people respect her to the point of kissing her shoes rather than quietly mocking her behind her back or use her in any way, shape or form. When it all went to shit not long after she graduated in 1994 - students dying, the Dark Lord returning, Potter stirring trouble - Bonnie and her family remained quiet, secretive supporters of Voldemort, narrowly missing imprisonment after the war ended when the Ministry weren't able to prove their involvement. Alfred and Athena were quick to move out of the country and left their children with most of their inheritance to live on; Alfie used the money to move to Italy, and Heather bought her and her husband a cottage on the Isle of Man. Bonnie, still unmarried and happily so, used it to buy the club she had been working in as a burlesque performer after the current owner died in the war. It wasn't the most classy establishment in Wizarding London, but she was determined to make it so, and used most of her leftover cash to renovate it and hire more interesting, niche acts that would appeal to high-paying clients; not long after the renovations and revamp, the club became members-only. Bonnie's club is outside of the main thoroughfare of Wizarding London but wasn't unaffected by the war and fall-out of Harry Potter's death. She lost clients and acts, and her outspoken support of the newly formed Ministry gained her financial help in order to build up her business again. She still yearns for the 'good old days' though - when higher ranking Death Eaters would spend their money in the club and give it a real feel of exclusivity that it currently lacks. Lestrange's current approach horrifies her - pardoning terrorists, and seemingly bending over backwards to appease the masses. Not to mention marrying a Weasley. She has been steadily getting more vocal over her support of Lucius and his traditional values, and is imminently moving to Tinworth.
PLOT IDEAS I watched the veins under my skin moving, changing from blue to red - Someone give me a man to kill and eat for the sake of ~true beauty - Following Lucius Malfoy and being incredibly loyal to his plans, goals, wants, needs, whatever - Did I mention killing someone? - Fun times at the burlesque club - anyone want to take a performer?
