Vision may have been born a conglomerate of those responsible for creating him, but he is still fiercely independent, which is seen when he declares he is neither Ultron nor JARVIS to the Avengers. He also shows his loyalty to the Avengers when he pledges to fight for humanity alongside them.
Vision illustrates his humanity and empathy when fighting Ultron. He did not want to destroy the android, but knew he needed to for the sake of humanity, which he views as fragile, but beautiful. Nevertheless, Vision empathized with Ultron’s pain, noting he too didn’t understand humanity.
Vision can wield Thor’s hammer, which illustrates how noble, worthy, and protective he is; he may be a synthezoid, but he has very real human emotions. He is not one to intentionally hurt others, but rather speaks in facts, which is seen when he tells Tony that Ultron hates him the most.
Vision likes to make others feel better, which is seen when he visits Wanda after her brother’s death. He doesn’t understand the sitcoms she watches, but is eager to learn about them and make her feel better. He here illustrates his optimism when he discusses grief. “What is grief if not love persevering?”
He doesn’t always understand personal boundaries so he often walks through walls and listens in on conversations. It is rude behavior, but he doesn’t quite understand why.
Vision yearns for a “normal” life away from war and destruction. He is happiest when on the run with Wanda because he can be with the one he loves while avoiding fighting. Of course, this unfortunately couldn’t last.

"Vision is a sapient construct, a perfect hybrid between organic and inorganic material. His entire body is a mix between a synthetic simulacrum of organic tissue, created by Helen Cho, and vibranium, all of which were formerly enhanced by the cosmic powers of the Mind Stone to function as a living body. Originally, the body was designed to be Ultron's final form. The combination of the vibranium and the cosmic energy from the Mind Stone embedded in his forehead grants Vision a wide plethora of powers. According to Tony Stark, Vision has evolved beyond his anatomy and developed an understanding of emotions which enabled him to deactivate his transponder and maintain a discreet relationship with Wanda Maximoff."
