I'm grinning here, overwhelmed and delighted. Your work has long been a primary source of inspiration for me. I have read and reread all of your stories with [Bad username: sinick"] -- I find your Harry and Snape uniquely wonderful, and your attention to details and history frankly amazing -- and spent hours poring over your gorgeous art. You have deeply contributed to my understanding of these two characters, both verbally and visually. Being able to communicate with you like this is a great honour.

Your comments are delightful. I'm so glad that the textual parallels came across. I tried to bring in all four elements -- earth, water, fire and air -- but wanted to place especial emphasis on earth (on the forest as home to stag and doe, as the stage for death and rebirth) and water (the pool in the Forest of Dean, the Slytherin element). It's so wonderful to hear from you that this detail didn't sink into the mire of my prose.

Thank you again for your incredible comment, and for everything you have contributed to fandom. I am in your debt.
