I should have liked to send you and ac1d6urn a simultaneous comment -- for you and acid have shaped my views of this pairing so strongly, so memorably, that I must indeed wonder whether I would have even wanted to write without having known your work. It is such an honour to communicate with you like this.

I am delighted that the tangle of perspectives, of conflicting and somewhat intransparent viewpoints came across plausibly for the two of them. I do not think I have ever come across a pairing as electric and disturbing and moving as Harry and Snape.
