Located on the outskirts of Liverpool, near Formby Forest (a good place for full moon romps, when Remus, James, and Peter are so inclined), Sirius' house is a four-bedroom, fairly large, fairly private, and fairly empty-feeling place when he's there by himself because his friends are off having their own lives.
The entrance to the house opens immediately on the dining room and two sets of stairs. The dining room opens on the backyard opposite the entrance with a set of french doors. On the first floor, to the left of the dining room are two doors. The one closest to the entrance leads to the small and rather underused kitchen. The other leads to the training room, which has padded walls and floors, a wall of mirrors, and several dummies for practising spells. It opens to the backyard as well. To the right of the dining room is the large, cozy living room, which also opens on the backyard.
Both sets of stairs lead to the upstairs hall which runs directly over the dining room. To the left, over the kitchen, are guest bedrooms 1 and 2 on either side of the hall, with the guest bathroom at the end of the hall. The other end of the hall, over the living room, is taken up by the master bedroom and bathroom (shower not pictured).
Sirius' house was previously owned by a Muggle and, since he does know how to work it, he's kept up the electricity, although he keeps candles on hand because it tends to go on the fritz when more than four or five wizards are in the house at once. He doesn't have a garage, but he keeps his motorbike just beyond the gate to the backyard, well-secured with anti-theft and anti-weather jinxes.
