Breaking news.

Not really. The breaking news is that there is no breaking news. This is the very definition of a slow news day.

Which is nice, I suppose, because it means we actually get to run a few human interest stories and happier things, for a change.

But it doesn't make for a very fast-paced day on the job. I'm really quite bored.

Be careful what you wish for, Caradoc.

And no, I don't see you as the human interest type.

I'm not superstitious. Also, I wasn't actually wishing for anything, just commenting.

No, I'm really not the human interest type. I am, however, an interesting human. So I suppose it balances out.

Neither am I, but all the same, I don't complain when I haven't got much to do at work, either.

You could write up a profile of yourself? I'm sure that would sell like the figurative hotcakes.

Working keeps my mind occupied and challenges me. Not working but still being required to be at the office with nothing to do is boring. I'd rather, if I'm not going to be working, be able to leave.

However. I am not nearly bored (or for that matter, nearly arrogant) enough to consider writing a self-profile. There are many unique people out there whom my coworkers will find and write about.

Fair point. Though I typically have enough backlogged paperwork (which, unlike Moody, I actually do)that I'm rarely doing nothing.

Well, should you ever get bored and arrogant enough to do it, I'm sure I would read it with great interest. Caradoc Dearborn, by the wizard himself...
