I think they're useful, but as the Hogwarts set seems to be the group most interested, they're probably filled with secret gossip and student melodrama as well.

Interesting, maybe, but I wouldn't say 'fascinating,' I mean, nothing anyone else would care about...

And yes, scads of it. You learn to flip past the worst of it though. Glad to have more-- well I was going to say more people closer to my age here, but then I realised I'm still closer to the students than you.

But I would never say words in general are meaningless. I make my whole living with words.
