IN GAME PERSONA
Katie Weaver is what social workers would call a troubled girl, and what the local cops would call a juvenile delinquent. Her former foster families, the adults at her former group homes, and the people from the last 'troubled teen' center she was sent to have other words, several of which aren't printable in polite company, but Katie's convinced herself she doesn't care about that.

Found in a trashcan shortly after her birth, with the cord still attached to her, Katie never knew her parents, though a DNA test did pull up a 'father', who was in the system himself, and also still a teenager. Since he was in no position to take care of her, and her mother was prosecuted for abandoning her, with neither set of grandparents and no other biological relatives stepping up, Katie became a ward of the state of New Jersey, and cycled through the system, and more than one bad home.

Eventually, to cope with the pressure of her life as it was, Katie turned to drugs, petty crime, and the streets. Her social worker tried to help, more than one therapist tried to help, and so did a number of programs designed for 'helping' kids like her. In Katie's case, the 'theraputic' homes, locked centers, and finally, the actual juvenile hall she got sent to didn't help much. In fact, she wound up at the latter more than once, doing a few stints at a time, mostly for violent outbursts and assault charges. A bright spot during this time was finding her first girlfriend, who she lost soon enough when the girl's parents found out and rejected her for her background and record, which made things worse as far as Katie was concerned.

It became harder and harder for anyone to find a placement for a girl like Katie, due to the violence, and most centers being more equipped for boys who acted out violently, though eventually she found herself packed off to the Second Chance facility in Westview, which was very quickly adapted to accommodate girls as well as boys, according to state standards. If this all happened pretty quickly, no one really noticed because...Westview. In any case, she's here now, the new girl at the program and in town, and not the biggest fan of anything. She may be trapped in the program for now, as she sees it, as a sort of halfway house between juvenile detention and a more standard group home, but she's pretty sure she'll be doing time here for a while. She doesn't really care that much, of course, since Katie doesn't give a shit about much at all now. If that's complete bullshit on he part, well, she hasn't recognized that herself yet, and in the meantime is up for scaring up whatever bits of trouble she can find. After all, no one else cares either,right?
ABILITIES
Catra is a skilled soldier and strategist, even if she's not as good as her former best friend and crush. Physically, she is, quite literally, a cat girl, with cat ears, tail and claws. She can manipulate them much like a cat, giving her balance and agility and an edge in battle. She's also a survivor and has been through quite a lot of dangerous situations. Does she have nine lives? MayBE...
