AU CHARACTERS
Game Choices:
Sebastian's from a game state in which a Male Hawke friendromanced Anders. When Anders blew up the chantry, Sebastian's pleas to kill him fell on deaf ears, and Sebastian left Kirkwall to reach Starkhaven in order to invade with an army. When he tried to return with his army, now as Prince, the attempt was put down fairly quickly. A few people, including a couple of squires Sebastian had been keeping a bit of an eye out for, were killed before things settled down, but relations with Kirkwall itself are fairly positive, since they were obviously not harboring Anders.

Sebastian has no problem with mages in general, after having known Hawke. He also does believe they should be free, just not the dangerous ones, like Anders. He can also admit to seeing how Anders and his choices were influenced.
Adding to what's written in the history, a very young, pre-chantry Sebastian did manage to run away for several weeks before he was dragged to the chantry. Along the way, he indulged in some common diversions fit for a spoiled rich young prince, and, as it turned out, impregnated one of the women he slept with during this time. He was just turned sixteen when said kid was born, though he had no idea about it up until he claimed the throne in Starkhaven and said kid came out of the woodwork. They've spent the better part of the last few months trying to deal with each other and failing.
IN GAME PERSONA
Evander Fletcher was born in Scotland, and grew up there for the most part. He was the youngest kid in a large family, and by the time that he came along, his parents weren't terribly worried about him. As a child, he was raised by nannies and other staff, and as a young man, he was raised by boarding schools.

Somewhere along the way, this lack of involvement from most of his family got to him and Evander struck out. Suddenly, he became the most socially, and sexually active kid in his year, adopted a sort of cheeky spoilt attitude, and, in general, did what he wanted, as long as it didn't actually hurt people. He never felt he had much sense of his own life, which came true when most of his family was killed in a house fire while he was away at school. They'd never really cared what he did, and now, with no one left alive who was young enough to do anything about him, he eagerly took the inheritance he was offered, quit school and proceeded to have even more fun than he'd thought possible.

That was, at least, until he ran out of said money, and had nowhere to stay. Still a teenager at this point, an old friend of the family found out about their deaths, and reached out to Evander, offering him a place to stay if he needed it. Because he was broke and needed a change, and to evade both some debt collectors, and some girls who were claiming he was the father of their child, he leapt for the chance, taking off for America and a new life.

As it turned out, life with the family's old friend was very different. She was quite religious, even sending money to the Houston Ministries people, and while she didn't force Sebastian to attend services, did ask him to finish out his schooling at the local religious school, where Evander struggled at first, fairly badly, asked that he do chores he'd never done in his life before, and, generally, treated him like more of a real person than anything else. At first, he hated it, balking under this treatment and tried to run away, more than once. Gradually, however, Evander got comfortable, stayed, and life went on a bit.

Eventually, after completing a basic degree in religious studies, Evander was not quite satisfied with this aspect of his life, but found that attending a Catholic seminary, with the hope of becoming a priest someday, appealed to him, and his life had started settling into some sort of order, at least for a few years.

That was until a note from Scotland found its way to the small religious community. Evander had, apparently, fathered a child several years ago, and, now that he'd finally been tracked down, after years of searching, he needed to submit DNA for a test. After said test was judged positive, he was granted custody of a teenager he had never met before, and wanted a new start for both of them, hence the move to Westview, where they've been for about six months now. He was lucky enough to re-find Houston Ministries, who were willing to hire him on as a secretary, even with his past, and he's grateful for the second chance this got him. This means that he spends a lot of time doing work for the church organization, trying to organize a lot of community outreach programs, and doing what he hopes counts for good. On the parenting front, however, well...He's trying..
ABILITIES
Sebastian's archery skills are top notch. He can also create illusions of himself that divert attention, can move quickly, and is a very fast, and more importantly, very accurate shot. He was once studying to become a priest of Andraste, more or less, and has most of the Chant of Light of Thedas memorized. He's also now a ruling Prince of a prosperous City State (see Monaco).
