POWER..
extent of power: the power to hide objects or people from optical sight.
limit of power: While Camden is quite skilled at cloaking objects and can leave them be for months at a time once he’s hidden them, people are a different matter. To keep a person hidden, he has to stay in close proximity, and thus requires much larger payments for human jobs.
origin of power: Genome Project
weakness: When he was younger, his powers were heavily swayed by his emotions. Now for this to happen, the emotions have to reach great extremes, which isn’t known to happen often. Physical injury to himself has also been known to weaken his abilities.


PERSONALITY..

weaknesses: doesn’t trust easily, closed off, his family
summary: Although he dropped out of college after one year, Camden is an intelligent man. It just shows itself as street smarts and a pretty solid (if illicit) paycheck. He learned- sometimes the hard way- to read people and situations and has gotten pretty damn talented at getting himself out of tight spots.

At his best, Camden is charming and persuasive, quick on his feet, and clever. On his bad days, however, he is bitter and can be cruel and calculating. His moral center tends to sway with the breeze, and although he’s not a sociopath by any means, he often doesn’t have a problem with helping the stereotypical ‘bad guys’ so long as the price is right. He doesn’t see it as blood on his hands.

Partially because of the knowledge of how he was raised, and partially because of the business he chose to go into, Cam is not a particularly trusting individual. He often keeps people at arm’s length, and as such has a hard time maintaining romantic relationships. Mystery is alluring at first, but it tends to lose its charm after a while.

favorite memory: The first time he used his powers to make money in college.
least favorite memory: Finding out about the genome project.
brief summary: Unlike Brooke, who seemed to have used her faith as a comfort during the divorce, it served as a catalyst to Camden’s turn away from religion. He continued going to church until he was old enough to refuse, at which point he headed down a very different path than his sister. Despite his father being a police officer, Camden took up with a rather unsavory crowd in his teenage years. When his powers surfaced, it became increasingly easy to keep from getting caught as incriminating people and objects could conveniently disappear in the blink of an eye.

When project finally came to a close, Camden did not take the news well. He felt understandably betrayed by his parents, and his abilities suddenly seemed much less special knowing that they were forced upon him. He felt disconnected from his family and was eager to move off the island. He attended college under the premise of a business degree for a year, before dropping out. During his brief stint in university, he came to realize that his abilities were worth more than a degree ever would be. People were willing to pay him good money to keep things hidden, and as such, Camden is just chock full of other people’s secrets.

To keep himself off the radar, Cam took a ‘steady job’ with an employer who puts up with his frequent absences for his ‘outside job’ in exchange for the occasional favor. When he’s not busy making his real money, you can find him bartending.

RANDOM..
quirks: Sleeps naked. Keeps his place very neat and clean.
cross to bear: For all his unresolved issues with his family and his laissez faire attitude, Camden does care about his siblings. He still checks up on them and makes a point to steer his work clear of them.
biggest fear: Losing his powers.
pet peeves: People talking down to him. People who wear too much perfume/cologne.
