The ancient warrior born as Kayn is the eldest child of Gyald and Serafina. Brother to Escaflowne, Zaravanth and Genesys he was strong, swift and brave beyond words fighting with honor for the Seinken for eons. A master swordsman and Aria he was the youngest of his kin to become an Archon having been Proven before he reached adulthood. When the Schism occurred he fought his fallen brethren with distinction earning the rank of High Archon filling the power vacuum left behind by his treacherous great uncle the demon king Atrenos Sorphine and throughout the early years of the Seinken Civil War he proved to be a dangerous roadblock to Sorphine's plan of conquest.
At the Siege of Ixidrel the demon king rectified this...
In single combat Kayn engaged Atrenos but the demon brutally defeated him tearing his wings out and severing his left arm and lower body. But even in that state he attempted to continue fighting only to be incapacitated by dark magic burning off the right side of his head. Following the savagery he was discovered on the brink of death by Serafina and taken to the palace. Being far beyond his regenerative abilities Kayn had only two choices - death or become a shellbound. Kayn chose to become a weapon of war and was rebuilt into the single deadliest mechanized combatant of the Last Age.
In the days leading to The Fall he was an unstoppable force that terrified the demons. With most of the Seinken having fallen by this time Kayn stormed Ixidrel and confronted Atrenos a second time. This time however he easily overwhelmed the demon who didn't know who this deadly enemy was until the very end of the fight. Looking at certain death as Kayn was about to kill him Atrenos opened a gate sending the killing machine through a wormhole. Kayn emerged from the wormhole badly damaged and unable to alter his course he crashed on a small lush planet called Earth impacted beneath what became a hill, then finally a desert road over the ten millennia he was there. He could not see, could not escape and worst of all could not sleep. Trapped in that state his power reserves were nearly depleted when he was freed by the failed explosive test (and bad luck) of mutant technopath Amelia Blue.
He is impossibly advanced in comparison to human technology but his many years entombed beneath the Earth have led to him being incredibly antiquated and obsolete by Seinken standards. In fact he's like an abacus to a supercomputer. If he could just contact the Crux Divinitas he could receive his much needed updates and upgrades. But now that he is free the both he and the woman that released him might just find out that the Seinken didn't put all their toys away...
Physical Appearance: Kain in his Shellbound form stands an impressive eighteen feet tall and weighs ten tons due to his entire body being constructed of heavy dirgellum dendrite alloy armor with the exception of his organic remains. He has long white hair roughly twelve feet in length, pale nanomechanical 'skin' and glowing red eyes.
He can alter his appearance to take on the form of mundane, mystical, technological or even organic items and entities. He can also take on the form of any vehicle he has seen or obtained schematics for.
As a human he is a powerfully built male with short dark brown hair and green eyes. He stands six and a half feet tall and weighs approximately 220 pounds of solid muscle. He can also take on the form of anything previously mentioned in human form but his most notable trait as a human is the ability to use his arsenal without reverting to Shellbound form
