PERSONALITY! PRIMARY MOTIVATION: Once it gets down to it, and after getting past her own selfishness (she's fifteen, selfishness comes with the territory), protecting others is her primary motivation. From her baby brother, to the friends she made in the labyrinth, and even the fairy until it freaking bit her, she wants to be there for the people she cares about. (...Even if she did accidentally wish one away. Selfish fifteen year old, remember?) DEEPEST FEAR / INSECURITY: That she is really just a silly little girl lost in her daydreams, and that she will never really reach any of her dreams. MBTI: INFP-T LIKES: fantasy novels, plays, costumes, stuffed animals, makeup, clinging to the last remenents of her childhood DISLIKES: authority, crowds, growing up too fast, her stepmother, perceived unfairness FAVORITE TOPICS OF CONVERSATION: She has many special interests, but she will always turn back to fantasy. One of her favorites being all things Camelot and King Arthur. She also goes on too much about her mother and her acting career, since that's... really all she has of her mother. Since she's never around for her, she just obsesses over the things that she's in. WHY ARE YOU PLAYING THIS CHARACTER? WHAT PERSONAL CONFLICTS DO YOU WANT TO EXPLORE IN-GAME: You mean besides Sarah being one of my favorite characters since childhood? That I've always wanted one day to find a home for and play her? I really want to see her react to the rules changing on her again. She was about to enter the goblin city and she was so close to rescuing her brother. And now she's here. Wherever here is. While time runs out back in the labyrinth. The rules continued to change on her, and she honestly isn't sure if this really is an outside force from what she's been dealing with. I mean, Jareth has disguised himself before! She isn't convinced at first that this... somehow isn't still part of the same game. Even if it doesn't look like it should be. ...Her "room" at the landfill didn't look like it was part of the same game, either, after all. This might be just another place to stick people to forget about them. I'm also excited to have her get to play her against an older version of her younger brother. For the siblings to get to really know each other, since for her he's just a baby and for him she's a teacher who has forgotten her dreams. ***** Sarah is frequently lost in her own head. It's not to say that she doesn't have any perception of reality, or that she experiences any altered form of reality. It is more that she does not really care much about it or the responsibilities that it entails. Her day dreams, her books, her plays... those are much more exciting for her than the mundane life of a normal teenage girl could ever be. Who wants to babysit every night when you could be slaying dragons or outwitting sorcerers in your own imagination? She hasn't yet mastered the art of balancing the mundane with the fantastical yet, because you can't live in just your dreams. No matter how much you want to. She doesn't like being ordered about. Asking her to do things will cause you so much less resentment than deciding for her. Why should she respect you as authority if you won't even respect her as a person? For the people she cares about, she will give them or do anything for them. Because she wants to do it. From the moment she feels something is being taken from her, whether it's a possession or simply her time and effort, she will push back hard against it. She can't stand unfairness. Which... mostly to herself if she's going to be honest. But also to others. Any perceived injustice makes her see red, even when she doesn't have the full story. Like, just a wild example, someone spraying for faeries because how could someone do something so awful? Not realizing that they aren't exactly sweet beings of light the way the stories tell her, but more... fancy mosquitoes. She has a very black and white view of the world, almost childlike, without room for many other shades. | |||

He's an innocent baby, it really wasn't his fault that her stepmother volunteered her for babysitting without asking and decided to give him her toys. And it was Sarah's fault, honestly, that he wouldn't stop crying. After all, he was asleep. She was the one who barged into their parent's room and woke him up, yelling. He didn't have anything to do with any of it. He was just... a convenient person to blame. | |||
SORTING! WHAT POKEMON WOULD YOUR CHARACTER BE?: Let's see... a fairy type poke? That's well known for getting huffy when things don't go it's way? ....Jigglypuff. Definitely jigglypuff. WHAT THREE ITEMS FROM HOME WOULD YOUR CHARACTER LIKE?: Sarah's a little leery, to say the least, of things popping up from her house. Can't imagine why. But... she would really love to have Lancelot, her teddybear, and Merlin, her dog. Can a book collection be one thing? Because she would love her entire book collection as her third item.
