Ginny hadn't been able to stop grinning since she'd gotten approval from her Mum to go visit Harry (and the others) for a couple of days. She'd nearly left him a note in the journal about it, before thinking better of the idea and deciding to surprise him. It wasn't like he wasn't sort of expecting her anyhow, so he couldn't be angry. Besides, it was much more fun this way!
She assured her mother for what felt like the thousandth time (though, really it was only like the fourth) that she would be careful, that she would behave herself, that she wouldn't cause any problems and if anything went wrong, she was to floo back straight away. She'd only packed one bag with her, holding just a few sets of clothes, a toothbrush and some odds and ends. Arnold was to stay at home while she was gone. She didn't want to have to worry about losing him or leaving him behind on accident.
She grabbed a pinch of floo-powder and threw it into the fire. She stepped in and clearly spoke the address before feeling the familiar sensation of being dragged by the nose. When she saw her grate, she stepped out, stumbling slightly as she brushed herself off, coughing a bit on the soot. She attempted to straighten herself out as she gave a quick look around the room. She didn't see anyone and grinned to herself. Slinging her bag over her shoulder she crept down the hallway towards the room she remembered to be Harry's. She pressed an ear to the door to see if she could hear him inside. She couldn't tell so instead, she stiffled a giggle before giving a soft knock.
"Room service." She said anxiously waiting for him to open his door. Hoping to Merlin that he was in his room.
