Most people think of her as a bitch, or as aloof... but really, she's a kind person, she just doesn't let her guard down for many people. While most of the kids think she's cool, and pretty, and bad-ass, she's really only CLOSE to two or three of them.

-History-
Birth Date: April 17th

Birth Place: Cory was actually born in a little town in Mississippi that she doesn’t care to give a name to, mainly because she’s decided to never go back there again if she can help it. She already didn’t fit in at all, mainly because she had no interest in things like football or even normal girlie things that everyone else thought that she should like. She was a tomboy and spent most of her childhood climbing trees and covered in dirt.

Things seemed to only get worse for her when she hit puberty. That was when she started to come into her abilities, first electrocuting a bully on the playground. No one could explain it, and she wasn’t ‘technically’ blamed for it, but all of the kids became afraid of her. She was used to being ostracized, but this was something different entirely. It got to the point that people were either avoiding her entirely, or treating her like a pariah of the town. When she was sixteen, she’d had enough of it and, after saving up enough money, bought herself a bus ticket to New York City and left town.

It was in New York that she first met her best friend, Max. The two of them helped to take care of each other while they were homeless and, after they were found by Cameron, they both elected to go to the Portman Institute rather than continuing to live on the streets.

Family: Cory has both her parents and two brothers that live back in her hometown that she calls on a regular basis but it would take a miracle to actually get her to go back to her hometown again.
