APPEARANCE: With her long limbs and not a lot of curves, there was always a risk Eleni would appear awkward. Perhaps for a split second as a teen she did, but it's hard to imagine so now as you watch the tall blonde glide through life, watching her playground with those hazel eyes.

A fan of fashion, she doesn't let her height or willowy frame get in the way, adapting trends to suit her instead. Her preference is towards classic and simple looks and clean lines though.

OVERALL PERSONALITY:Sexual/Sensual - Eleni sees no harm or shame in using what she has to get what she wants. Frequently a suggestive and flirty tone and words are coming from her, especially when it can help her out.

'Sorry' - Eleni has no patience for people who play the victim, cringing. It doesn’t make you want to look after them, or help them, it just makes you want to kick them. It’s annoying! Similarly people who complain it’s not fair. They need to grow up. If you want something, go get it, or realise life isn’t always fair.

Stubborn - When she has her mind on getting, or achieving, something, woe betide the person who tries to stand in her way!

Escapist - Eleni is a great fan of the things that help her escape any of those screwed up parts of her life. Sex, drinks, parties, work, potions, dust... If it can distract her, you can bet she's tried it at least once, although she knows to play more discretely now she's more in the public eye as part of the ministry's pair-bonding program.

Closed - It's pretty damn hard to truly get inside her walls, no matter how she might play at it. Some might say that despite her apparent indifference, it wasn't just the loss of her brother but her parents' behavior afterwards which has caused some issues. They wouldn't suggest saying this to her face though.

Songbird - It is reasonably well known that Eleni is a pretty talented pianist, although she has never really tried to do anything with it career-wise. What is less known is that she also writes songs sometimes. Her real passion for music and her own music are things she doesn't easily share, and only those closest know her piano is one of her safe places and her ways to collect herself and sometimes express herself.

HISTORY:
Eleni was born the older of twin girls, the first children of Selena and David Montgomery.
Growing up they saw a lot more of their father than they ever did of their mother, busy as she was with her career in the Ministry of Magic. Selena didn't show signs of slowing down until the girls were 11 and their baby brother arrived.

Atticus James (or AJ as Eleni called him, mostly because her mother hated it) was doted on by the twins as well as their parents. He was the catalyst that seemed to cause their mother to slow down, a feat the girls never managed.

Going to Hogwarts, the twins were sorted into Ravenclaw, and they learned to navigate the castle, both literally and emotionally, together. Eleni soon realised she had far more talent for practical magic than the theory and history behind it. She excelled in charms and transfiguration, but struggled with History of Magic and Astronomy, and it was only with the help of her sister and her housemates that she scraped through them.

It was in their 5th year that the unthinkable happened. After their mother refused to help the death eaters, AJ was attacked by Fenrir Greyback, and later died in St Mungos of his injuries. Selena fell apart, and their father coped by throwing everything into caring for his wife. The girls only had each other and their friends and house mates to help them through it. Even when the girls went home for the summer they recieved no love or support from their parents, and Eleni started to harden towards them.

Going back for their 6th year, she seemed to be coping almost too well. She vowed to truly care for no-one other than her twin, not even her parents, and threw herself into just surviving school and the slow descent into chaos that was happening. When the battle eventually came she stayed and fought, letting her anger towards the death eaters fuel her.

With Hogwarts shut, and her parents still not really functioning in a way that allowed them to work out what was next for their daughters, it was their maternal grandparents who stepped in just enough to arrange teaching to continue their education. Eleni fell back into focusing on magic, but without the supervision of the school, she also found other things to distract herself with. She tried dragon dust for the first time, partied with other friends who were finding their places post-war, and once she turned 18 she started working at a wizarding club.

When she found out she was to be part of the pairing program, Eleni was surprised. She didn't want a husband or children, but it was clear this was what was expected of her, and she figured she could draw it out as long as possible. There were hints she would be able to benefit from agreeing to take part, and Eleni let herself be drawn into that, for the sake of both her and her sister.

He was not the sort of person she would have seen herself choosing, she thought him childish and crude, but Eleni and Kenneth Towler, a quidditch player a few years older, than her, were paired and expected to wed. The time leading up to the wedding and the day itself was a whirlwind of interviews and arrangments, and she often found herself wondering how big a mistake she made by saying yes, but she had to try.

The time since their wedding has seen more than its fair share of fights, walk outs and angry sex, but it's also seen relaxed nights where Eleni let herself enjoy time with her husband and gone with the flow in ways no-one else who knows her would probably expect.
