i just wanted to touch base with you since i'm not able to reply to our thread. i work in health care and because of that i've been deemed 'essential' and i haven't been able to be as active with writing as i want to. that's not an excuse for disappearing, but i wanted you to know why there was a lack of communication. i come home most days not even wanting to open my laptop, let alone having the energy to write replies, but i want to apologize all the same for leaving you hanging, and letting you think i had flaked on our line.

Sorry I had cleaned out my journal since I hadnt heard from you in a while. Thanks for the comment though and letting me know what was going on. I hope you are OK, I know everyone in health care is working beyond their limits these days. Please say safe out there!

i haven't gotten the results back yet, but i'm actually pretty certain i just have a common cold because i don't have the symptoms, BUT i work in health care so they're being overly cautious because of how much exposure i've had.

do we want to keep the same line and maybe skip to them having sex for the first time again?

Absolutely. Maybe she made dinner for them, a bit like a date. I think they both know it will happen that night but she wants to make it extra nice?
