Selina feigned embarrassment, her eyes rolling slightly as she glanced away from him - the smile stayed though. Of course he wanted to invite her to dinner, they had a lot to catch up on after all. For a start she would have to give some kind of explanation of why she'd disappeared for six months, giving him little more than twenty four hours notice. He was lucky that he got some, many other people didn't.
"Does the early bird special sound appealing? I have places I need to be tomorrow evening."
She spoke as quietly as he did, turning her head back towards him, her hand reaching out to graze his own. Places to visit was more like it really. The east end, her old haunts. She needed to get back in the rhythm of Gotham life, and for her that was cold nights in leather as much as it was parties and social events. It had taken some strength of mind for Selina to come out tonight to see Bruce instead of heading out into the night. As soon as the musty air of Gotham heading into spring had hit her lungs - it had been like some kind of drug, airing all of the cobwebs out of her system. She'd enjoyed the hot and sultry climate of Riyadh but Gotham was a different animal entirely.
"We need to catch up properly, in private." She spoke quickly, her hand grasping his again for a moment. She couldn't help herself. When it came to Bruce all bets were off.
