"Five o'clock it is," Selina glanced around the room again, her eyes darting over faces she recognised from newspapers and election ballots.
They seemed to be chatting amongst themselves now, the band were beginning to start up again. She and Bruce were no longer the main attraction it would seem and other guests started milling around them as Bruce pulled her off to one side. It was girlish and beyond her really, but she grasped his hand as he tugged her through the party, heading towards a set of double oak doors. She was surprised that seemed so keen to get her alone. Perhaps six months away really had made his heart grow fonder, but it was somewhat strange that Bruce would want her alone so quickly. Yes they'd flirted, sure they had feelings for each either other, but the closest they'd come to anything over the years were a few stolen kisses. Every time they got close they pulled away. This time it had been her, but he was the master of subtlety - although sometimes all it would take was a photojournalist with a pretty smile and he would be lost to her again.
Selina brushed up along side him as they moved together, leaning in, she cast him a questioning look as he moved through the doors first inviting her into the smaller dark room.
"Do you want people to talk about us Bruce? I'm sure they already have plenty to say..." Her tone was low, as seductive as she could manage with a grin on her face.
