Well that's the last time I use that elevator at work. If I wanted to be confined in a box with random coworkers... well, I'd be mentally deranged. They need to get it sorted for good, or I'll send them even more howlers.

Are you alright? Honestly, why hasn't this lift issue been taken care of already?

Other than being completely annoyed, I'm fine. Thank you. I don't know why it hasn't been taken care of -- I've sent them more than enough notices.

And I doubt you're the only who has. Hm. I wonder if there is someone in charge of the repair crew that can be written to directly or met with.

I'm going to look into it more tomorrow. I was a bit too busy this afternoon to properly deal with it but hopefully tomorrow I can find the right person to put in their place.

Good idea. If not, we'll have to do some research of our own. I cannot have my only sister trapped in lifts every other week, after all. Who would I have to bother?

Don't worry, I'll get it taken care of. Don't you have a husband you can bother, too? Throw a little variety into the mix.

Yes, but Draco isn't quite the same.

Indeed he is not. Probably good for you that he isn't.

Is that why a handful of people came into MLE all pissy today? Merlin's Beard, not that we're not affected by it too but MLE can't handle everything.

I'd bet on it. I don't really see how it falls on MLE to deal with it, though.

Neither do I. But some are apparently under the impression that we're supposed to fix everything that goes wrong regardless of whether or not it's got anything to do with dark Wizardry or whatnot.

People would make more progress if they stopped to think about who should be in charge of what they're complaining about.

As the Muggles would say - you're preaching to the choir! Not that I lack sympathy for the situation or anything, because I would hate to be stuck in the lift during my lunch, but we've got people whose job is to do maintenance like that.

And those people have heard from me about this situation. Hopefully they clear it up, and fast.

At least it looks like I picked a good time to leave. I hope you're not too bothered by your ordeal.
