The upside to everyone being in that hotel is that it shouldn't be too hard to sneak a few people out for one Saturday. They probably won't have Prefect patrols and the house ghosts will still be at Hogwarts.
...which goes against what I'm supposed to say, but really. We were all taught the standard curriculum for everything except for Muggle Studies and Defense Against the Dark Arts.
