BIO:
The biological daughter of singer/actress Rachelle Martin-Bale and an anonymous donor, Dio was named after her mother's favorite rock singer, Ronnie James Dio. Born prematurely, Dio's birth almost caused her mother's death, something that she still harbors resentment toward herself over.

At age 10, Rachelle's two wives, Neely Bale and Morgan Raleigh, decided to take Rachelle's last name in a show of solidarity and love, which Dio loved. At 12, it was discovered that the magic that Tara Maclay had used on Rachelle to allow her to become pregnant had imprinted deep in her DNA, and was passed on to Dio. While primarily the traditional magic Tara and others like her used, Dio's magic had one huge difference: she could use it to slightly bend time and space, allowing her to jump backwards or forwards a few minutes in time, and even gain small glimpses of alternate realities. Such actions take a ton of energy from her though, and doing so even once tends to knock her out for hours.

At 15, Morgan heard Dio singing in her room and was shocked by how good she was. Asking the girl if singing was something she was really interested in, Dio happily answered 'yes'. Thus, Neely contacted her cousin Benjamin, the head of Full Moon Entertainment, and two albums, several TV appearances, and one movie later, the rest is history.
