Charlie is the younger of Arno and Shay's twin children born on May 15th, 2020. Through time shenanigans, the version that will be arriving here is 17 years old. Charlie has a "big" sister Morrigan, born on May 14th (before midnight and after midnight births in their case), and while he's the younger of the twins, he's also really calm, steady, and mature for his age. Charlie gets these qualities from his biological mother, Evie Frye, but he's definitely picked up on his fathers' wry sense of cynical humor, and tends to be fairly quiet and thoughtful, making him more a reflective person than a man of action, though he's been known to act after carefully weighing a situation.

As a werewolf, since birth, Charlie's grown up feeling a little overprotected by his dads, particularly Shay, who has drilled expectations for his safety, and the safety of others into his head from a young age. Shay and Arno have also both worked on teaching him some basic defense and weapons skills, and among these, he enjoys fencing the most, even if he's only done it recreationally so far.

Charlie also loves music and plays the guitar, and enjoys cooking and taking care of animals. He was the kid who dragged home every injured animal or friend in the hopes of helping to make them better, and his best school grades are in biology. He thinks he'd like to be a Veterinarian or to work in Conservation Sciences when he's older. In particular, he feels at home in Ireland and wants to do something to preserve and protect the landscape.

Charlie's been studying Irish Gaelic with his Da, Shay, since he was young, making it his second language of choice. He's taken up French in school, but he finds that he has a harder time with it, even though his Papa, Arno, is usually around to help, unless of course, either one of them has a job to do.

Charlie knows damned well that his fathers are a templar and an assassin, and he has a decent idea of what those mean, at least intellectually. He's had aunts and uncles in both factions who have filled him in on the details over the years, and he's especially impressed by his 'Grandpa' Haytham, and the other Templars, finding that the philosophy of protecting those who need protection (or at least the party line of the Templar philosophy calling for that) sits better with him than the Assassin philosophies, even if Arno HAS, and is willing to sit down with him to point out that the Creed isn't exactly carte blanche to do whatever you want, whenever you want. He thinks that he wants to join the Templars on his next birthday, but hasn't told his parents yet, as he doesn't want to upset Arno and is a little worried about how he'll take the news.

Overall, Charlie is a steady and responsible kid who tends to be on the quiet and reflective side, loves animals, music, and taking care of others and deeply cares about those others and the world around him. He'll be a bit bemused to meet younger versions of his fathers and the others he knows and spends time with, but he'll probably take it all in stride. As much as he can, anyway.
