i think i even labeled myself an asshole in a phone conversation with a friend within the past two hours.

no shoes at the moment. i was most recently wearing John Deere work boots.

i worry about her sometimes. (which, oddly, is what she said, too.) plus, i think she's really interesting and cool.

finishing my notes and handouts for a workshop tomorrow.

"Dont think bc im going to the game i dont want to hang out i should be home by 1000" (but then she wussed out and didn't go out... plus, the conversation in which i pointed out that she was being lame was the conversation in which i labeled myself an asshole)

two blocks south, three blocks west. but it's got a parking lot, so i drive it. if i wanted to walk, there's a white hen pantry (is this a chicago thing? a midwest thing?) just two blocks south.

riiiiiiiiiight.

outside of family... i'm not really sure. and, actually, i'm not even sure who in the family. i know that the last person to tell me something roughly equivalent, at least in the really-good-friend sense, was either rachel or corinne.

probably the trim on some coat in some store.
20. How Many Drugs Have You Done In The Past three Days?
well, there are the 8 pills i take every morning (6 different drugs, one of which gets taken as 3 pills), and the various over-the-counter nasal stuff i've been inhaling, but other than that, nothing of substance in the past 3 days.
21. How many rolls of film do you need to develop?
3-6 of my own; ~600 of my brother's.
22. Favorite age you have been so far?
17, i think. 23 had some good times, but i sort of feel like everything 21 and up has been, on balance, pretty shitty.
23. Your worst enemy?
i'm probably my own worst enemy. either that, or time or something.
24. What is your current desktop picture?
both my desktop machines have boring background images that came with the OSes (but not the default ones... ones that are generally blue and bland). the desktop picture on my laptop is a photo of cabs streaking along 5th ave in new york at night, taken from several floors up in a hotel.
25. What was the last thing you said to someone?
said goodbye to my friends outside the bar across the street, said goodbye to my parents on the phone.
26. If you had to choose between a million bucks or to be able to change a major regret?
if i thought that the major regret i'd like to change could be changed, i might have to think about it, but in many years of thinking about it, i am fairly certain that there was nothing that could have been done to make my decisions any different at the time, so... the million dollars.
