| a (somewhat) normal sunday |

as usual, i did no work on saturday, leaving it all to sunday.
sunday was nice, starting with several planned non-work activities, then leading into an hour or two of messing around with internet stuff--time i probably should have put to better use. then, i spent a little time working and watching tv, then ate dinner and got sucked into Grey's Anatomy (though mostly because it was the second part of last week's show that i got pulled into because those of us who were still there at the superbowl party all stayed and watched it), then finished the batch of work i had started earlier.
then, being at a good break point, i took a break to call the parents, talked to them for a little bit, then right as i was going to go back to work, the phone rang. this pattern of being about to go to work and having the phone ring repeated itself a few times, and here i am, an hour past bedtime, having done very little of the work that i had planned to do today. i almost wish i felt bad about the fact that i'm going to just go to bed and leave it to get done tomorrow.
but i don't.
i spent most of my day doing what i like probably better than anything else--spending time with and talking to my friends.
