Lunch at Leela European Cafe (24-hour coffee shop and bar with free wifi and so far nothing but good music blasting)--I wish I'd had the sense to come here at night at least once to see what it's like, but I leave to go back to Chicago in only a few hours.
Kelly, the bartender/?? (owner? manager?) is cute--skinny, short dark hair gelled almost all straight up, left arm covered in brightly-colored but faded-looking tattoos that I can't discern, pierced ears/stretched lobes. She fits perfectly with this place. I really wish this were in my neighborhood--I'd barely leave (except maybe work, sleep, and the occasional trip to Morseland).
