AU⥤ Joey's been away from home for three years, give or take. First, she was in a post-apocalyptic game set in Las Vegas where she was "adopted" by Tony Stark. Feeling weak and frustrated that he kept her in a lot because it was too dangerous outside and because she always felt so scared when she wasn't with he or her boyfriend at the time, Tate Langdon, Joey started training with Natasha Romanoff.

Because there was little else to do and she had no friends save Tate whom was not allowed in the hotel where Joey stayed once episodes from his show started airing, showing who he really was, and Allison Argent, who lived at the other end of the Vegas strip with her friends from home, Joey threw herself into weapons and endurance training.

When she was transported to the City, a few months later, she began dating Allison Argent and working in a gym to keep herself in shape in the absence of Natasha. A few months later, they invited Isaac Lahey to join their relationship, creating a polyamorous trio. Joey's stronger-willed, now, and much more confident than she was before her previous games. She knows how to defend herself, knows a lot about supernatural beings, and no longer struggles with her self-esteem.
