APPEARANCE.
Long and lean, surfer girl. She’s not the most blessed in the curves department, and push up bras are her friend on those occasions she is trying to look more sexy, but she does like having long legs, which make up for some of it, and anyway, boobs would get in the way when surfing and swimming, right?
She is a no fuss girl. The water and the waves come before perfect hair and make-up for the most part. No contest! Her hair is normally in easy waves, and her make-up is minimal. Her idea of accessorising is the few bracelets she wears day to day, none of them expensive just incase they end up in the water or she loses them.
PERSONALITY.
LIKES: Surf, swimming, the water, warmth, friendly people, a sense of humor, watching the snow from a warm room. DISLIKES: The cold, too serious people, people who hurt others.
STRENGTHS: Trying to see the best in everyone, talented surfer, sense of humour. WEAKNESSES: Trying to see the best in everyone, inability to make coffee, hard to make take things seriously.
She lives for the moment and doesn't do the girl code thing very often. Now don't get her wrong, she enjoys being a woman and especially the things that go with it, like formerly making out with hot surfer dudes, and she knows how to flaunt her femininity but she is just an easy going kinda girl. She is definitely more often seen with a smile on her face than a frown.
On the flip side, she doesn’t always think through what she’s about to do, or already doing. She’s been very lucky before, and able to smile and joke her way out of things when she annoys someone, that or had friends or people who would help her out of it. The reality of New Haven has proved to be a bump in her story.
HISTORY.
Kaia was born the only daughter to Maria and David Blake. The couple had met 5 years before when Maria was working as a dancer on a cruise ship and David was a guest. He was drawn to her fun and mischievious nature and they had an illicit and fleeting fling during his stay. Keeping in touch afterwards they met again once Maria's contract had finished. They married the very next day in a Vegas ceremony and a few months later, inspired by his new wife's spur of the moment attitude, they moved to Maui, a reminder of how they had met and a happy place for the pair.
Kaia grew up surrounded by other children, her mother having become a popular childminder, and perhaps this is the reason for her sociable nature. Still, she seemed content to share her mother with these other children and she enjoyed having others to play with all the time. As time went on she even seemed to enjoy helping others. It soon became no surprise for her parents to find Kaia's friends, or sometimes classmates she wasn't even that close to, asleep on their sofa when they needed a place to crash, or hide out.
Growing up by the beach it was no surprise she loved the water, and she took up surfing as early as she could convince someone to teach her. The hobby continued on into her teenage years, and as she hit puberty and developed she realised some of the benefits she had not thought of before. Not only did it keep her in good shape, but it gave her an excuse to hang around with the boys. Not only that, but hang around the boys whilst wearing a bikini and pretending to be oblivious to the effect it had on their hormonal male selves. Aaaah yes, her teenage years were fun. She dated, she fooled around, but nothing lasted too long, and she stayed friends with most of them.
Then came time for college. She could have gone to O'auhu to study social sciences, the eventual direction she wanted to go, but Kaia felt like maybe it was time to take advantage of the chance to go a little further for now. Further, but not lacking a little of her favourite things, which is how she ended up in California, at UCSB. Still having access to the surf (if not as good as back home) it's a miracle her marks were so great for the last two years she spent there.
Her first year passed perfectly, her parents were helping financially, she was having fun, enjoying her classes, made some great friends... but then things got a little harder... During her second year, Kaia's dad made some wrong choices, and suddenly it was a lot harder for them to help her, or afford to keep her at UCSB. She was faced with the possibility of having to drop out, although her parents protested that idea. Luck shone on her though, and one of her professors, an alumni himself, mentioned New Haven University to her, confident she could get in and get a scholarship. It sounded too good to be true, but he was right, she got in, on the full scholarship programme they offered. There was a little hesitance when she found out what that entailed for her, but nothing ventured, nothing gained, right?
At first Kaia just hopped around between Dominari wanting something for that moment, nothing permanent. It wasn't until half way through her junior year that she was picked up properly by a member of the men's swimming team and started her time as an owned servita.
