PERSONALITY

As one might expect of a demon of the desire spectrum, Livia/Katia has always had pretty poor impulse control. If she see’s something she wants, she goes for it, no matter how many people she has to walk all over to get to it in the process. It is part of what makes her a good greed demon, as people will often see her going for her goals and are inspired to behave the same way to try and emulate her success. It is why she likes to show off any wealth she has by driving the very best cars, living in a big house and always looking immaculate. What she does not like people to see is the amount of hard work that goes into that sort of lifestyle. The reason for this is that it is so much easier to convince people they need more of what they have, if they think that a little extra power or a few extra $000,000s in the bank will make their life easier.

Having lived as many lifetimes as she has, Livia is a very intelligent woman, though she does rather enjoy playing the simpleton around people who do not know her well. She believes it makes it so much easier to manipulate people when they underestimate you, as they are too blind to see what is happening, right under their noses.

One downside for living as long as she has, is that she has said to a great many people she cares about over the years. While she likes to pretend that this does not affect her anymore, the truth is it very much does. It is why she tends to be quite closed off to new people and as a rule does not like to make friends with anyone with a shorter lifespan (Humans, halfbreeds etc.). If you do become one of her inner circle though, she is a surprisingly generous person who is not afraid to lavish a person with her fortune. It also means that if you cross one of those she is closest to, she would go to the ends of the earth to make sure that revenge is dealt

HISTORY

Livia does not remember exactly when she came in to existence, just that one of the earliest memories she can recall is wandering across a marketplace in Ancient Rome. While that time is a little hazy due to the amount of lifetimes she has lived, it was still one of her favourite eras to live through. Taking up the role of a concubine for a Government Official, she had no trouble in finding people to lead astray and inspire greed in the hearts of.

Even though Livia has had many names over the years, one thing that has remained the same is her favouring the vessels of young and beautiful women. While men might have been the holders of power in years gone by, she has had far more success in turning humans hearts in the body of an attractive woman then she ever has a man. It is also exactly how she has found herself close to (but not involved in), many scandals over the years. A quiet whisper here, a little rumour there, it always seemed so much easier to her influence people in the body of someone meek and mild looking.

One of Livia's very favourite periods of time, by far, had to be the early 1900's New York, pre-Stock Market Crash. With the amount of new money flowing into the area and the the promise of the American Dream, it almost made her job too easy at times to inspire greed.

It was when Livia was living in her previous host vessel, Charlotte that she was first drawn to the Shumukh. Having spent many years on and off in the New York area, she felt the need for a change of scenery. Hearing of a group of demons and supernaturals living in the Denver area, she was intrigued. While she had never seen the draw of a cartel previously, an old friend from her past soon opened her eyes for the potential for Greed that was associated with working for them. Unfortunately for Livia though, her old vessel Charlotte grew sick from the toll that partying put on her system and died in her mid-40's.

While Livia did enjoy the vessel of Charlotte while she lasted, her latest one Katia is quickly proved to be one of her favourite of all time. Being the daughter of a Russian Oligarch means she enjoys an extremely comfortable and luxurious lifestyle. It also means that it is very easy to inspire greed in others who wish to emulate status, power and fortune.

Mostly kept herself to herself until the age of 21, then suddenly made her debut on the Socialite circuit.

No known cartel affiliations.

One arrest for suspected shoplifting from a Chanel boutique at 16, however was later released.
