A life rich in culture & diversity was something that came easy to the Kattalakis family. Dimitri & Shayma had a total of five children and had moved them across the world multiple times. They lived in places such as Greece, Syria, Mexico, Canada, Russia, Japan, Brazil and the United States. Though they moved a lot, their family was always priority and they made it a point to teach their children about respecting other cultures, faiths, and traditions of the countries they lived in. Growing up around all of that was what made Braden the type of guy who would happily say hello to a stranger and give them the shirt off of his back. He was raised to care for all of those around him and treat them as equals. As they traveled the world, Braden found a lot of interests and became a 'jack of all trades', however the one thing that Braden fell head over heels in love with was wrestling. He first came in contact with wrestling when his family lived in Mexico City, Mexico and his older brother took him to go see a show with Los Luchadores, the famous masked wrestlers. His obsession began and despite the fact that his family would soon move from Mexico, he continued to watch wrestling as much as he could, often training himself (although he was always asked not to).
His family took him Japan, where there he met a new style of wrestling in Japan and slowly, Braden began to form a style that would become unique to him. As a kid of parents that were fairly successful parents that did a lot of humanitarian work (which was the reason for most of their moves), Braden was told that he first had to be successful in his studies before he could be successful in the ring. Eager to please his parents, as well as his own desires, Braden achieved grades that met his parent's expectations and in return, his parent's allowed and paid for his training in becoming a wrestler. Although his family did have a significant amount of money, Braden never has, nor will ever, act like he came from that money because of the way he was brought up. He worked for everything he wanted and when he wasn't training, he took several side jobs to pay his parents back for the training they paid for.
At the age of 20, after traveling the world with his parents, Braden left his parents home and found a place of his own in Los Angeles. There he started wrestling with several small companies but not as Braden Kattalakis. In fact, he wanted to make sure that the wrestling was the highlight, not the person behind the wrestler. So he debuted and started his career as a luchador by the name of Sin Nombre. Over the next several years, he ironically made a name for himself as Sin Nombre despite the fact that the literal translation was "No Name". He grew in popularity with fans for his quickness within the ring and his acrobatic nature. He also grew in popularity with those that he worked with for being hardworking, kind, considerate and overall, a good guy who kept a smile on his face.
Though he didn't stick with one company, Sin Nombre made his way across the country and worked for several companies, including ones in Japan, England, Wales, Scotland, Abu Dhabi, and many more. During his time there, he caught the attention of WWE and he was offered a contract with their developmental team NXT in 2013. It was with NXT that Braden took the name Braden Anders, keeping to his real first name but using Anders as his last instead of Kattalakis. After a few months in NXT, Braden won the NXT Championship. There was something about working for the WWE that didn't suit Braden and after some...questionable actions by some, in late 2014, Braden relinquished his title and made a trip to see none other than Wyatt Dubois and began talks about coming to XWF. Not to make a name for himself, but to continually give back to the sport and profession he loves.
Outside of the ring, Braden is a loveable goofball who just enjoys the job that he's been blessed to have. He loves Harry Potter and calls himself the "lost Weasley" (based on his ginger-ness - no, he's not a 'redhead'. He's ginger), he also loves the Percy Jackson series, anything and everything Disney, video games, and much much more. Due to his Syrian heritage (from his mother, Shayma), Braden can write Arabic and speaks fluent Kurdish (an Arabic dialect). He's a nerd in his own right, always with his eyes focused on a book when they're not focused elsewhere. He's had a few relationships here and there but because of his obsession with wrestling and his dedication to it, relationships have never really lasted. He'll do anything for those he considers friends and while that loyalty is honorable, it's also hurt him in the past. But he's a frequent believer of just letting stuff go and moving on. Always looking for the positive.
