Could you be anymore dramatic?

"I had lunch with him once"

so it makes you like family?

Maybe it does. What's it to you?

I couldn't agree more with you.

I worked for over eight months on TDK with Heath. I have every right to run to his wife's side and make sure she and his daughter are well. One lunch does not constitute the right to go all dramatic and wail like a Southern Baptist Holy Roller.

Not everyone is Hollywood is running to be in NY, Keely. I am here in NY, with Ryan, because I asked her to be here. If I am everyone, I am more popular than I thought.

Please understand, Mr. DiCarlo, that I've the utmost respect for you as an actor. But unless I am mistaken, no one has questioned your right to see to the family of someone whom you got to know over an extended period of time. Perhaps this young woman did only meet the man once or twice. But Mr. Ledger touched the hearts of everyone through his acting. Perhaps running to New York isn't the proper response, but then, neither is starting comments like these.

Anger and hurt make you do a lot of things. Ganging up on him for saying something he felt needed to be said doesn't prove you any better. She has every right to respond to things however she wants. So does he. And this is what he chose because he happened to be friends with the man, rather than just meeting him at random once or twice.

Ordinarily, I don't step into things like this because there isn't much point. But I don't want to see my friend bombarded with comments for stating his opinion on something. He's allowed to have it.

Ms. Ainslee, you don't know me, so I won't take offense to the assumption that you just made. I had no intention of ganging up on Mr. DiCarlo. Perhaps he felt what he said needed to be said. And I simply said what I felt needed to be said on the matter. There are better things, more important things to snipe over than the way people choose to grieve over someone. That your friend, that you were friends with Mr. Ledger makes your pain that much deeper, but it doesn't make the pain of those who only knew of him less in any way.

Again, I had no intention of ganging up on anyone. If he is allowed to offer a comment, then others should be able to respond to it. I'm not sure where you got the idea that I was more than simply commenting. I don't recall stating my opinion rudely or making derogatory comments. I was trying to be neither better nor worse, but simply neutral.

Thank you.

Don't be a bloody asshole, Jace. Everyone who respected Mr. Ledger is mourning his loss.

I don't know you, Ms. Williams. I actually haven't had the chance to see any of your films, either. While I understand that many are reeling from the loss of a great actor, perhaps it would be best left to the close friends and family to be on the scene.

Keely, do what you want. Feel what you want. No one has the right to tell you otherwise. I'll call you later, doll.

I'm sorry to hear that you're taking this so hard. And I know that we don't really know one another. But I just want to tell you that .. it'll get better. As stupid as that always sounds, it will.

He was a good guy. A really good guy. An amazing actor and a good father and .. he's really going to be missed by a lot of people. But I'm finding it's best to remember his smile and how pleasant it always was to be around him. He was a really good guy.

But, yeah. It'll get better.

I heard about it all the day it happened. I haven't ever had the privilege of working with him but, from my understanding with people whom knew him, he was an amazing person. I'm really sorry for everyone whom this has been affected by. You obviously. If there's anything I can do to help. Even if it's just a cup of coffee to take your mind off of things. Let me know.

I agree with Ms. Lake up there, feel how you feel and do what you want to do. Nobody can hurt you than.
