 Sept. 11, 2008 -- After a trip to the emergency room in California last night, actress Keely Williams has entered rehab for undisclosed reasons, her rep tells PEOPLE.
"Keely Williams did receive emergency care at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center," says her rep. "Other issues made it prudent for her to seek longer-term and broader-based treatment.”
The hospital confirms the 24-year-old Williams was admitted.
Back in December the actress was rushed to the hospital for alcohol poisoning. The past year and half hasn't been easy on the actress, with the death of her younger brother Shannon Williams last October due to alcohol and then the loss of her father Waverly Williams in June.
"To her credit, she has entered into an extended-care facility where she will receive the care needed," says her rep. "And for the moment we ask that everyone respect her privacy."
This coming after it was confirmed Williams was not married to Kingston Pennington.
