First off I should slap you. Someone's couch ? You wanted to borrow someone's couch ? Don't you know that you ALWAYS have a place, a bed, in my house ? I mean that. If I'm there or if I'm not there. Come over. Stay as long as you like.
That being said maybe you guys are moving a little too fast with the divorce talk. I'm not trying to pretend I know everything because that certainly isn't the case. You're not stupid for getting pissed off. But he's not stupid for what he feels either.
Maybe you should just hold off on the papers for right now. Give each other some space if that's what you need and then try talking about it again when you're both not so upset.
