Well I don't think jealousy should be used for any reason ever. If you know you did something that you need to apologize for, chances are that you were not right. I would suggest talking to her rationally and trying to explain the situation one more time. If she still shows no interest in forgiving you, it might just be best to cut your losses and move on. I know it's not what you want to hear, but you can't make someone feel something for you if they don't.
