Nicknames: Mace
Codename: Mimic
Affliation: The Brotherhood
Age: 20
Date of Birth: August 15, 2011
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Journal Name: [info]mimic_

Height: 5'11"
Weight: 140
Hair Color: brown
Eye Color: green
Distinguishing Marks: None
PB: Zac Efron
ABILITIES
Powers/Abilities: Power mimicry/empathic abilities

Level of Control: Mason cannot control the mimicry, but he has to have skin-to-skin contact with the other person in order to mimic said power. He is able to utilize the other person's power and abilities to the same level that they can. He has trouble having more then 3 sets of mutant abilities at once before it becomes too much for him and then he is unable to control any of the abilities. He also has a limit in distance as the person's power that he is mimicking needs to be within 300 yards or he loses that ability within an hour.

Mason also has lower level empathic abilities that he only recently learned that he had. He has no control over these whatsoever and does not always understand when it is someone else's emotions that he is feeling. He actually has to be within 50 yards or it has to be a very strong emotion for him to pick up on it.

Skills/Talents: speaks French, English, agility; artistic, mechanically inclined, and some thieving skills (but not nearly as well as other siblings), handy with a guitar, skilled card player
PERSONALITY
Mason really does try not to jump headstrong into situations, but that does not tend to be the actual case, more often then not. He cannot seem to control the fact that he usually ends up reacting to everything based upon emotions. Whether they are his or not, (he is not very good at realizing all of the time) does not mean that he really cares to stop and try to figure that part out. He is about as hard headed and stubborn as they come and is far too prideful to admit when he's wrong. Each of these things tend to get him into a great deal of trouble that he would claim to never see coming, not that he would care.

He has a good sense of humor, but has a tendency to utilize sarcasm. Mason like's to bottle up his own emotions until the point of blowing up. Not that he's not willing to express himself and argue with others, but he tends to instigate and irritate others to the point of gaining those arguments, which he has no problem following through on. He can be very charming, but only when he wants to be, otherwise he might not always be the nicest person to be around.

Strengths: Quick wit, charming, artistic, mechanically inclined
Weaknesses: Sarcastic, hot headed, stubborn, abandonment issues
HISTORY
The youngest boy of the Lebeau clan, and a bit of a surprise addition (being 10 months younger then his older sister), Mason was certainly coddled in his own right. Though, Mason wasn't about to be the easiest child of the bunch to deal with either. But with parents like Remy Lebeau and Anna Raven, that was hardly an issue.

As a child, Mason had more then enough sass to make his mother proud. He was stubborn to do anything. To crawl, walk, talk, even to take a bath. Anna had always known just what to do to get him to do it all. From a kiss on the head and a promise of a cookie to a trip to the park. He was never quite so easy to follow his two older siblings into anything. He would rather sit and play alone, color, and above all stay close to his mother. He was just one of those kids that would chase after his mother to tug on her clothes, to cry out 'Mama! Mama!' and show her his latest creation. Not to say that he didn't love his family, he was just closer to his mother. The effervescent mama's boy.

Upon Anna's death, Mason didn't feel as if he really had much of a family anymore. Olivier had taken off on them, their father had went into a depression, and his sister's were dealing with things in their own way. The stubborn, sassy child that Mason had been quickly turned into complete and total rebellion. He wanted nothing to do with any of the family affairs. Mason even refused to try to become a part of the Guild, so his thieving skills are there, but not nearly as skilled as his siblings. He fought his father about everything that he could, whenever he was actually around.

So, seeing how well it did for Olivier and Isabelle, Mason was shipped off to Xavier's. Having his mother die, his father not around so much, and his older brother and sister go off to school, and then to be shipped off as well? Being at Xavier's did not sit well with Mason in the slightest. So, it was no surprise that he did not last long at all before he quickly jumped to the Brotherhood. He did not even care to finish school, choosing to opt out and gain his GED instead. Mason is still not on good terms with his father, and may speak with his other siblings if the need arises. He loves Jolene and her incessant texting, even if he doesn't admit to it.

Known Relatives: Remy Lebeau (father), Anna Raven(mother, DECEASED), Isabelle Lebeau (sister), Jolene Lebeau (sister), Olivier Lebeau(brother), Raven Darkholme (surrogate grandmother), Kurt Wagner (uncle), Amanda Wagner (aunt), Graydon Creed (uncle), Jean-Luc Lebeau (grandfather), Henri Lebeau (uncle, DECEASED), Mercy Lebeau (aunt)

Sure! That sounds great. Stupid IJ and it's wonderful issue with notifs right now, so forgive my lateness. lol. Mason really doesn't get along with the oldest boy, but doesn't have so much of an issue with his sisters. The youngest was someone that he was probably closer to than anyone else, though if she were on the X-Men side, that would be his only actual issue, but not one that he cared too much about. Just different interests/view point and all that. Out of all of them, the only one he'd actually confide something in. He really does not get along with Remy at all either, blames him and Olivier for most things, and hasn't actually seen their dad in a long time, let alone spoke to him. Not since he tried to shove him into Xaviers. If there's anything that you need though, feel free to poke me about anything, and even if I'm not on aim (addtothenoise) it goes to my cell. :)

haha. Yeah, Mason's a bit of a hothead...so understands the violent streak. Though, he has a mouth on him and is a bit more like his mother. In fact, he was a huge momma's boy. He never cared to be all the much like Remy and can do all those glorious sneaky things, but his own siblings are all better at it than him. He's just better at it than the average person. He goes pickpocketing for kicks and what not. He also can't control his own abilities at all. He barely registers his own second ability but it only really seems to effect him when it's a strong emotion and they have to be near him.

I kind of want to laugh with her secondary ability. Oli and Mason have this kind of screwed up effect where their abilities block one another, given they are both based upon touch. Mason takes abilities without draining anything while Oli drains abilities. And he hates taking the older sister's abilities. Yet, she hugs and kisses him and he wants to smack her sometimes for it. So if they touched, it might be kind of funny.

I think he'd definitely get along real well with her then, as long as she didn't bring up Oli or Remy. LOL. Sensitive subjects. Also, he decided to actually take a few classes at the college in the fall (lying in order to get a scholarship so that Oli and Remy would know nothing about) and would have told her though. Being the last one at home, she's pretty much the only person who he feels didn't leave him behind purposely.

And he has a 'girlfriend' (fake and she's really a lesbian that has not been outed) at the moment, which is funny because it really doesn't bode well with his love to flirt and what not. lol.

Awesome! And double awesome!

Haha! Yeah he was trying to make some point that is now lost on me based upon actions of some others before they dropped the game. LOL. So he's a little stuck atm trying to figure out how this works, but keeping it going.

That works! He would be excited though a little shocked and suspicious about the whole thing (though I'm sure she will be more than convincing ;) ), but he would definitely go for trying.
