Personality: Lucifer is, at heart, a ruthless and cruel being. That doesn't mean he doesn't have beings he bestows favour on. He has his favourites, though his favour can be fickle at best. He can grant you with gifts and favours one second, and burn the life out of you the very next.

Be that as it may, he has grown mostly weary of the world. He has his fingers in politics and news media. At this point though, he is mostly happy to sit back and watch humans tear each other apart, rather than do it himself. That fact alone saves him from outing himself every chance he gets. Saves humans from constantly being victim to his cruel whims. His favorite thing to do is to lie back and watch the news with a good scotch. Humans are hilarious and pathetic.

History: Though often he is associated with Satan, Lucifer has also being referred to in texts as a completely different entity. Satan is the tempter, Lucifer the deceiver.

Lucifer was created an angel. The most favored, the most beautiful and the most loved by God. Until God told everyone they had to 'bend the knee'. Lucifer had different ideas. He wasn't going to bow.

Lucifer rebelled and waged a war. He was cast out and thrown into Hell by his very own brother, Michael, thus beginning a rivalry that would last through the ages. And though Lucifer is still really Pissed Off for being cast out, now he has this thing called Free Will. He wouldn't give that up for anything. ...most of the time...

So now Lucifer spends his days ruling Hell, alongside his husbandwife, Satan. He has a ridiculous spawn he is constantly underwhelmed by, Joshua, The Antichrist. He does his very best to mess with Michael every chance he gets, and he revels in trying to fuck with the saints.

NEVER make a deal with him. The house always wins, as they say.
